Ram 1500 Reigns as MotorTrend 2025 Truck of the Year

The 2025 Ram 1500 arrived with a new approach to the full-sized pickup truck. By introducing a duo of powerful turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engines, the most advanced pickup truck in its class continues to go from strength to strength. Now, it is garnering its own rewards. In fact, MotorTrend has named the Ram 1500 its 2025 Truck of the Year. This honor marks the seventh time a Ram pickup has earned the prestigious title since Ram became a standalone brand. Previous Truck of the Year Awards were presented to Ram in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2019, 2020, 2021, and now 2025. After weeks of testing, MotorTrend’s editors gave the truck high scores in every competitive testing process category. They found what makes the 2025 Ram 1500 one of the most desirable pickup trucks around. It all starts with the 3.0-liter Hurricane Straight-Six Turbo engine. With two versions available, the one they love the most is the higher-output version that delivers up to 540 horsepower. This engine played a significant role in the evaluation and scoring. MotorTrend editors also recognized the wide variety of trim levels for customers to choose from, from the luxury of the Tungsten model to the raw off-road capability of the RHO. MotorTrend 's annual awards recognize the best vehicles representing exceptional value, superiority in their classes, and impact on the automotive scene. The accolades are among the most coveted automotive industry awards and represent the pinnacle of an extremely competitive segment. These award winners are not chosen based on a direct comparison against other finalists. Instead, they are based on the results of how each contender measures against the award’s six criteria: advancement in design, engineering excellence, efficiency, safety, value, and performance of the intended function. Contending vehicles at Truck of the Year are first put through MotorTrend’s full battery of performance tests at a professional automotive test center to evaluate virtually every aspect of each vehicle, then assessed on real-world roads loaded, unloaded, and while towing, as well as at a premiere off-road facility, before a winner is selected. Based on the testing and evaluation MotorTrend gave the 2025 Ram 1500, it is definitely a winner! Our pickup truck not only puts the power down but also has the most advanced suspension system in its class. Being the first pickup truck with a multi-link rear independent rear suspension, the 2025 Ram 1500 delivers an exceptional ride with superb load management and balance. Plus, the 2025 Ram 1500 continues to deliver advanced technology and connectivity with the UConnect 5 infotainment system. You can also share control using the Hands-free Active Driving Assist, our Level 2+ autonomous driving system. These stand-out features are among the many reasons why the 2025 Ram 1500 is a winner. The next step is to see for yourself why the 2025 Ram 1500 is a winner right here in the Twin Ports area. Contact us at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram soon for your testing and evaluation of the newly crowned MotorTrend Truck of the Year!

The Jeep® brand is charging into the electrified SUV segment with the reveal of its first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV) – the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition. The all-new, all-electric 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will launch first in the U.S. and Canada and later in markets around the world. Available in Jeep brand dealerships starting in the fall of 2024, the Wagoneer S Launch Edition has a starting U.S. MSRP of $71,995 (including destination, excluding EV credits).

Wagoneer S and 1500 Ramcharger Among Newsweek's Most Anticipated Vehicles for 2025

If you pay attention to the automotive industry, very few models emerge on the market as a surprise. Manufacturers show vehicles at auto shows at least several months prior to being available and often announce the models months, if not years, before that. So we hear about the models, sometimes see them in spy photos, and finally see them at auto shows, but we still must wait a season or two before they are available to the public. This leads to several models being anticipated. Newsweek acknowledges this with an annual list of the most anticipated vehicles. Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) is happy to see two CDJR vehicles on their list for 2025. These are the Wagoneer S and the 1500 Ramcharger. Jeep Wagoneer S The Jeep Wagoneer S will be the brand’s first-ever battery-electric vehicle (BEV). The model was expected for late 2024, but Jeep had some fine-tuning to ensure the model would be as perfectly executed as possible. Though it shares the Wagoneer’s name, it is quite a different vehicle. To start, it is smaller, with two-row seating instead of three.  The exterior is also quite different, being lower with a more angled rear and black pillars between the side windows for a long, unbroken dark appearance leading to a more radically angled d-pillar. Elegant wind tunnel sculpting is evident from front to rear. The Wagoneer will be powered by a pair of electric motors, one up front and one between the rear wheels, for standard all-wheel drive. The two motors will have a combined horsepower of 600 with 617 lb-ft of torque available when the motor starts turning. 0-60 acceleration is expected in 4.4 seconds, and if you don’t do such acceleration runs all the time, the range is expected to be 300 miles from the 100.5nlithium-ion battery. With a 400-volt electric architecture, direct-DC charging is expected to go from 20 to 80 percent in 23 minutes. With day-to-day recommended Level 2 charging, the battery should charge from 5 to 80% in about seven hours. Looking inside reveals what will be the most technically advanced Jeep to date. Across the horizontal dash will be a combined 45 inches of usable screen space, customizable LED lighting, and an available 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. This will also be the first Jeep model with electronic door releases. A Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition will be the first model available and is expected to be fully loaded. It will have an MSRP of $71,995, including the destination charge. Other Wagoneer S models are expected to follow. 1500 Ramcharger Building off of what many consider the best pickup truck line in the U.S., the Ram Charger is essentially a battery-electric truck with a range-extending gas-powered generator. You could call it a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), but it doesn’t tell the whole story. While most PHEVs offer an EV-only range of about 30-45 miles, the Ramcharger’s 92 kWh battery will have an expected 145 miles of EV-only power with a total expected range of 690 miles when the gas engine is involved. This means that the Ramcharger will basically be an emission-free EV for essentially all day-to-day driving, while extended trips will be free of recharging worries. If you do want to recharge on the road, the 1500 Ramcharger is unlike most PHEVs in that its 400-volt system will work with DC fast charging stations to add 50 miles of EV range in just 10 minutes. The electric motors combine to produce 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle is expected to have a tow rating of up to 14,000 pounds. The onboard 3.6-liter Pentastar engine will operate as a generator for the electric motors. The Ramcharger will appear from all angles as a Ram 1500 with different lighting and subtle aerodynamic enhancements. Both models will be available to consumers in the 2025 calendar year. If Newsweek is highly anticipating the availability of these models, imagine how much Benna CDJR can’t wait to start offering them. If you want to be the first to check out either of these exciting new models, ask one of our sales professionals to notify you when the first models arrive.

The awards highlight vehicles that retain their value in the used vehicle market. Vincentric is a data analysis firm for the automotive industry.  Each year, they perform a cost of ownership analysis at the model level, from which comes the Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ awards. Vincentric measures the cost of ownership using eight different cost factors: Depreciation Fees & taxes Financing Fuel Insurance Maintenance Opportunity cost Repairs Based on their proprietary statistical model, winners are determined by evaluating which vehicles had lower-than-expected ownership costs, given their market segment and price. Each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus Washington, DC, using a range of annual mileage intervals and insurance profiles. Best CPO Value awards The Jeep Wagoneer was awarded for having the Best CPO Value in America in the  Luxury Large SUV category.  Contributing factors include: Outperformed 9 Competitor Models 6.1% below expected ownership costs For the second time, the Chrysler Voyager won the award for the Best CPO Value in America in the minivan category.  Its contributing factors include: 3.8% below expected ownership costs Lowest Total Cost of Ownership in its Class Outperformed 4 Competitor Models "We know consumers consider many factors when purchasing a vehicle, not just the initial cost, but also the overall cost to own, operate, and drive,” said Matt Thompson, Head of U.S. Retail Sales. “These awards are significant because they highlight a range of Stellantis vehicles that offer long-term value retention and peace of mind, from minivans to sedans, to commercial vans and full-size SUVs." Lowest Ownership Cost Recognition With their data on ownership costs, Vincentric also recognizes models that have the lowest in their respective categories. As a result, they recognized these five models for having the lowest total cost of ownership in their class: Chrysler 300 Sedan Ownership costs over $1,856 lower than the nearest competitor Outperformed two competitor models Chrysler Voyager minivan Ownership costs over $1,673 lower than the nearest competitor Outperformed four competitor models Dodge Durango SUV Ownership costs over $1,673 lower than the nearest competitor Outperformed four competitor models Ram ProMaster City Passenger Van Ownership costs over $1,186 lower than the nearest competitor Outperformed seven competitor models Ram ProMaster City Commercial Van Ownership costs over $2,083 lower than the nearest competitor Outperformed two competitor models While it is relatively easy to compare vehicle prices when shopping, comparing the overall cost of ownership is more challenging.  Consequently, Vincentric's work and its awards are valuable tools for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. We invite you to check out all the Vincentric’s winners, at Benna CDJR.

MotorTrend Names the Ram 3500 Its Best Dually

Big one-ton dual-rear-wheel pickup trucks top the list of things we love in the Twin Ports. These trucks carry the load, tow the big trailers, and take over any roads on which they ride. There is a choice of four such pickup trucks. MotorTrend did a comparison of all four, and only one came out on top: the 2024 Ram 3500. MotorTrend cites the Ram 3500 Heavy Duty because of its “solid towing manners and dramatically sumptuous interior when properly optioned. It’s a work truck for the boss.” It starts with a “burly design,” sports a “luxurious interior,” and ultimately feels “confident towing a trailer.” The towing part is important to a Ram 3500 owner. With dual rear wheels, the rear part of the frame is crafted to handle up to 37,090 pounds of trailer from a gooseneck or fifth-wheel connection. Large travel trailers or farm implements carried on a flatbed hauler present no problems for the dually. Towing is made more confident with the available Cummins High Output 6.7-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder diesel. This engine puts down 1,075 pound-feet of torque and was the first pickup truck in its weight class to offer more than 1,000 pound-feet of torque. It also helps to get the right rear axle ratio to deliver that power to tow its weight, which is why the Ram 3500 dual-rear-wheel pickup truck offers an available 4.10 axle ratio for larger jobs. Its “burly design” comes from the influence long-haul trucks have on Ram’s overall look. No one can mistake the big grille and lowered front fenders with excellent lighting units when it comes down the highway—or logging road—to accomplish the task at hand. That design continues rearward with the extended fenders to cover the dual rear wheels. Aerodynamics play a huge part to ensure that the Ram 3500 flows through the air without interfering with the job of towing or hauling goods in the box. Ram has been recognized as a leader in cab interior design. When you need your crew to join you on a job or to get away, they need to be comfortable. With seating for five or six, the Crew Cab offers exceptional space both front and back. Plus, they are treated to big, comfortable seats for that long haul out of town. Everyone will enjoy the best materials, no matter which trim level they choose. From durable surfaces in the Tradesman to luxurious leather in the Limited Longhorn, you are treated to a well thought out interior. The 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen is powered by UConnect 5, providing a wide choice of connectivity and playback options to get you there with a soundtrack to keep you moving forward. All of this is wrapped up in one tough, capable package. If the 2024 Ram 3500 dual-rear-wheel pickup truck is your rig of choice, contact us at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and get yourself the dually chosen by MotorTrend as the best.

New England Motor Press Association Names Grand Wagoneer as Best Premium Full-Size SUV

Spend any time in the deep woods of New England, with winters that anyone from the Superior, Wisconsin area will find familiar, and you will know why Jeeps are a staple. Thus, Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) is pleased to announce that the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) has named the Jeep Grand Wagoneer the Best Premium Full-size SUV for the second year in a row. The New England Motor Press Association was founded in 1987. Since then, it has coordinated professional media coverage and created content covering the auto industry specifically for the 14.5 million vehicle buyers living in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NEMPA's media members appear in national and regional print, radio, TV, and online outlets and have a strong social media presence. From November through March, NEMPA journalists test the latest vehicles in New England's harsh winter weather. At a Spring annual event at the NEMPA headquarters in Middleborough, Massachusetts, the New England automotive journalists that make up the NEMPA membership gather and select winners in multiple vehicle categories. One of the biggest of those categories, in all senses of the word, is the Premium Full-Size SUV category. “For the second year in a row, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer outperformed its peers during winter testing with a spacious, high-quality interior, clever use of displays and a smooth air suspension,” said Clifford Atiyeh, President, NEMPA. “While we miss the HEMI ® V-8, the new turbo Hurricane inline-six is even more powerful and purposeful in this flagship Jeep.” Mr. Atiya refers to the new Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine, which produces 510 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque. It is the standard engine for the entire Grand Wagoneer lineup. "The Jeep Grand Wagoneer embodies both capability and luxury," said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America. " Its advanced four-wheel-drive systems, cutting-edge technology and premium cabin come together to create a unique driving experience. We're especially grateful for the recognition from the New England Motor Press Association members, as it reinforces the Grand Wagoneer's ability to excel in even the harshest winter conditions." We may be the full set of Great Lakes away from New England, but as mentioned, the conditions can be strikingly similar. Visit Benna CDJR to experience the large, powerful, capable, comfortable, remarkably luxurious, and award-winning Grand Wagoneer for yourself.

2023-2024 Wagoneer Earns TOP SAFETY PICK Rating From IIHS

In addition to the praise for its exterior and interior styling, packaging, and capability, the Wagoneer can now add a significant safety accolade to its list. Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram proudly announces that the Wagoneer earned a TOP SAFETY PICK rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The IIHS has its own crash tests that differ from those of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In the IIHS tests, the Wagoneer scored a “Good” (their highest rating) on these crashworthiness tests: Small overlap front Moderate overlap front (original test) Side The moderate overlap tests stem from the recognition that vehicles usually do not impact a solid surface head-on. Instead, only part of the front of the vehicle will often impact another vehicle or barrier. With only part of the vehicle charged with protecting occupants in the cabin, this can be a significantly more challenging test for the vehicle. In the moderate overlap test, only 40% of the front of the vehicle impacts a fixed barrier at 40 mph. The small overlap test is even more challenging, with just 25% of the vehicle’s width impacting the barrier at 40 mpg.  In the case of the side impact test, the vehicle is stationary and is struck by a 3306 lb (1,500 kg) barrier moving at 31.1 mph (50 km/h) to impact the driver’s door at a 90-degree angle. A “Good” rating is required in each of these evaluations to qualify as a TOP SAFETY PICK. In addition, headlights rated as “Good” or “Acceptable” must be standard equipment on all trim levels. The Wagoneer received an acceptable rating for its standard headlight system and a “Good” rating for models with the Auto High-Beam headlights, which are standard on the Series III trim and available on the Convenience Package on all others. In addition, vehicles must deliver “Good” or “Acceptable” scores for pedestrian front-crash prevention. The Jeep Wagoneer’s standard pedestrian front-crash prevention feature  –  labeled “Full-Speed Collision Warning with Active Braking” – achieved a “Good” rating, having performed equally well in IIHS test scenarios involving an adult crossing a street at night and a child emerging from behind an obstruction in daylight. "This recognition validates the dedication of our engineers, who integrated state-of-the-art technology in every aspect of the Wagoneer's design,” said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand – North America. “The combination of a robust body structure and a comprehensive suite of over 120 standard and available advanced safety features, helps create a secure environment for drivers and passengers." This is just another reason to shop and test drive a Jeep Wagoneer at Benna CDJR to be your next family-adventure vehicle.

Chrysler Celebrates Pacifica As The Most Awarded Minivan

It was 40 years ago when the Chrysler Corporation invented the modern minivan. That was long enough ago that some models even sported wood grain paneling on the side. It sparked a whole new genre in the automotive industry with several models from domestic and import manufacturers, but the Mopar Minivans always led the way. Such was its dominance that the Chrysler Pacifica is now the only domestic brand on the market. There are import competitors, but the Pacifica still leads the pack, and Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is proud to pass on the fact that the Pacifica is the most awarded minivan on the market. Innovation Large and Small Throughout its seven-year design, the Chrysler Pacifica has garnered over 175 awards and accolades from industry reviewers. These awards recognize Pacifica's constant innovation, from the practicality of its Stow-and-Go 2nd- and 3rd-row seats, which can transform from people carrier to full cargo carrier without the hassle of removing seats, to the reassurance of the FamCAM, which allows the driver to monitor an infant in a reverse-facing child seat. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is a testament to Chrysler's commitment to innovation and sustainability. Designed with the typical minivan usage in mind, the Pacifica PHEV can be charged overnight on a regular household outlet and then run on electricity alone for 32 miles. This is often enough to cover a day’s driving needs. With a total range of 520 miles and 30 combined MPG, the Pacifica PHEV offers the perfect balance of efficiency and versatility. Any shopper near the Superior, Wisconsin, area will appreciate that the Pacifica is also available with all-wheel drive in its Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle trim levels. This gives you the best of both worlds: extreme cabin space and flexibility with the all-weather traction optimization of an SUV or crossover. New Campaign Celebrates Inspiration from Families Chrysler credits its industry-leading awards and overall success with the Pacifica to its owners' constant intense consumer research, examining how they use their vehicles and what could make the experience better. Chrysler celebrates this research with its new “Thanking Our Parents” advertising campaign, which features three different spots focusing on three different kinds of families. “Boy Mom” highlights the challenges of a mother of four boys under ten. “Empty Nest” shows two parents dropping off their youngest at college and then enjoying the space and features of the Pacifica for themselves. Finally, “Dog Mom” expands the traditional family definition to include pet parents as it observes one young woman keeping her very large St. Bernard happy as they travel. All three spots focus on the theme that Pacifica is observing consumers like these and creating features to accommodate them, which has earned it unequaled industry recognition. Explore the Best Minivan on the Market Crossovers and SUVs may be the choice of many, but you still won’t find a better vehicle to accommodate family living and long road trips than a minivan, and the best one on the market is named “Pacifica.” Come to Benna CDJR and see what impresses the experts so much about the Pacifica. If you buy one, perhaps you can inspire Chrysler Pacifica’s next big idea.

Recognizing automakers' outstanding achievements in creating and maintaining brand attributes that earn the attention and enthusiasm of new-car buyers, Kelley Blue Book, a Cox Automotive company, announces the winners of the 2024 Consumer Choice Awards. Honda is the major winner in this year's Consumer Choice Awards, nearly sweeping all of the non-luxury categories and taking home more wins than any other automaker for 2024.

Ram and Dodge Take Home 2024 Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards

Benna Chrysler, Dodge Jeep Ram is thrilled to share that two of its esteemed brands, Ram and Dodge, have been honored with prestigious awards from Kelley Blue Book and its Consumer Choice Awards. Ram has been recognized as the Best Overall Truck Brand, while Dodge has been lauded as the Best Car Styling Brand for a non-luxury brand, an award it has won five times in the past six years. These accolades hold immense value as they are a testament to the exceptional quality and design of our vehicles, as acknowledged by the consumers themselves. The Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards are a true testament to the popularity and customer satisfaction of these two automotive brands. These awards are based on the data from their comprehensive Brand Watch study, which engages over 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually through KBB.com. The study delves into the factors that drive purchase decisions, revealing brand and model familiarity and loyalty among new-car shoppers. This consumer-driven source makes these awards even more significant and meaningful. Ram: Best Overall Truck Brand The award comes at a good time for Ram as it prepares the launch of an extensively updated 2025 Ram 1500, which includes the debut of its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine family. This model line is expected to surpass the performance of the brand’s previous V-8 offerings and includes a version to be rated at 540 horsepower. Other features to arrive with the 2025 truck include a 14-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and even an available 10.25-inch front passenger display, all using the latest Uconnect5 operating system. Other available features include a Head-up Display and the ability to use a smartphone as a key. Also on its way is the 2025 Ram 1500 REV full-size all-electric pickup, which is expected to launch in the fall of 2024. The truck, which intentionally resembles the conventional Ram 1500, is expected to have a standard 168 kilowatt-hour battery for an estimated range of 350 miles. Dual motors will produce 654 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque across all rpm. The truck will have a maximum payload capacity of 2,625 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds. Expected for the following year is an available 229-kilowatt-hour battery for an estimated range of 500 miles. Dodge: Best Car Styling Dodge reclaims this award in the same year it says farewell to its Charger and Challenger muscle car lines. Those consumers will not be disappointed by the return of the all-new Charger Daytona, which will be the world’s first EV muscle car upon its arrival. The car will be available initially as a 2-door coupe and later as a 4-door sport sedan, both carrying overt muscle car lines from Dodge’s past while looking thoroughly modern. The Charger Daytona will be a multi-energy model lineup, and following the EV introduction, a gas-powered version of the same will feature the Hurricane engine lineup. The 4-door body style will arrive at about the same time as both EV and gas drivetrains. Ram and Dodge are both part of the Stellantis brand family, which includes Chrysler and Jeep, each with its own exciting models. You can see them all at the appropriately named Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store.

2025 Ram 1500 RHO Side Profile Off Road

Ram 1500 RHO Is The New Off-Road Benchmark

The 2025 Ram 1500 is quickly becoming all the rage among those looking to buy a new truck. Trucks are a major staple in general these days, and engineering a new truck that can outwork the competition is getting tougher and tougher. However, Ram has successfully won MotorTrend’s Truck of the Year award eight times since 1994, with six of those awards being from 2013 to the present. And certainly, a possible shoo-in for Truck of the Year is the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. All-New Performance With a starting price of $69,995, the all-new Ram 1500 RHO gives buyers the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo (SST), which produces 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. Ram claims this will allow the RHO to get from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and to 100 mph in only 11.7 seconds. The Ram RHO can also get through the ¼-mile in 13.1 seconds at 105 mph. A Word From Ram CEO “The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is the latest result of a relentless pursuit to engineer, design and deliver a truck that charges into the segment head down and horn up,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram Brand CEO – Stellantis. “All that we’ve learned from developing every truck in Ram’s legendary lineup has led us to the most capable light-duty pick-up truck, offering the best value with more horsepower per dollar than any other off-road truck.” Truck Capabilities It isn’t all about speed and performance, though, as the Ram RHO will have a towing capacity of 8,380 lbs, a maximum payload of 1,520 lbs, and as much as 32 inches of water fording. It's super fast and still very practical. The RHO will be the most powerful 6-cylinder truck in the segment. And thanks to that new H/O SST, the RHO is 150 lbs lighter than previous performance Ram models, which will aid in giving it better driving dynamics and overall balance. New Transfer Case & Low Range A brand new BorgWarner 48-13 full-time active transfer case has been added to ensure no off-road or inclement weather conditions will hamper its abilities and performance. A low range of 2.64:1 allows the RHO to go rock-crawling out of the box, and it can be flat-towed in neutral without harming anything. Suspension Upgrades New Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, the shocks on the Ram RHO, coupled with independent front suspension, are able to continuously adjust the damping forces for excellent body control and terrain isolation. The special Bilsteins can seamlessly adapt to on- and off-road driving to maintain the utmost comfort and performance handling. Thanks to an innovative design, the rear suspension allows the RHO to have 14 inches of rear axle travel, which is 40% greater than all other Ram 1500 models. Ride Height The 2025 Ram RHO has been given a 2-inch increase in ride height and 35-inch tires. This means the new RHO's ground clearance is a very respectable 11.8 inches. Interior Displays The driver and front passenger have also been given attention with 12-way power and leather front seats with memory and massage functions. Front passengers will also have dual wireless phone chargers. The RHO has over 50 inches of total screens in the cabin, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 10.25-inch passenger display that is only visible to the front passenger and has three primary functions: co-pilot which displays the navigation and device management, entertainment via the HDMI port, and the ability to view all of the external cameras. A user-configurable head-up display can be as large as 10 inches and give the driver all permanent information available while driving, including navigation and adaptive cruise control, among other features. Special Features The 2025 Ram 1500 will feature a new Level 2+ hands-free driving assist system that allows drivers to go hands-free on certain roads, center the truck in the lane, and slow the vehicle when driving on curvy roads. Sitting below the infotainment screen will be an RHO-exclusive multifunction switch bank and the available Trailer Reverse Steer Control. 2025 Ram 1500 models can be optioned with a 900-watt Harman Kardon 19-speaker sound system with a 10-inch subwoofer. Availability Production of the 2025 Ram RHO will be in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and will arrive at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the third quarter of 2024. 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Front Side View

Chrysler Pacifica Named Best Minivan for Families by U.S. News & World Report

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is a minivan that is more than a people carrier. It is a safe, attractive, all-weather, and all-purpose vehicle that helps up to 8 passengers ride easily and comfortably. When Chrysler developed the minivan concept in the 1980s with the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager, they never stopped reinventing the segment, which is what makes the Pacifica so beloved by journalists and customers. Who Is U.S. News & World Report? U.S. News & World Report is one of the leading publications that ranks everything from the best colleges in America, the best universities around the globe, to the best hospitals, states, cars, and much more. They have been a trusted source since 1948. Every year, they give out their best of awards, and this year, they chose the Chrysler Pacifica as the Best Minivan for their 2024 Best Cars for Families Awards. A Word From U.S. News “The 2024 Best Cars for Families winners offer a number of safety features and a comfortable ride for all passengers, making them ideal for daily commutes or family adventures,” said Liz Opsitnik, Executive Editor, U.S. News. In order to decide the 2024 Best Cars for Families award, U.S. News & World Report looks at their Best Car Rankings, which uses safety data, quality, estimated reliability, passenger and cargo space, plus the overall consensus of automotive journalists. Engine & Mileage The Pacifica is available as either a gas-only or hybrid vehicle. The gas model features a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Pacifica plug-in hybrid has the same 3.6-liter V6 but with 260 horsepower and two electric motors producing 84 horsepower and 114 horsepower. With 520 miles of range, the Pacific hybrid is fast becoming the segment’s favorite minivan. In pure electric mode, the vehicle can go 32 miles before the gas motor kicks in. The Pacifica is also available with all-wheel drive. According to the EPA, the front-wheel drive Pacifica models can get 19 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. When AWD is equipped, that mileage drops slightly to 15 and 25. However, opting for the plug-in hybrid allows for 82 MPGe and 30 mpg combined between city and highway. For mothers and fathers who need to keep an eye on their children in the backseat, the Pacifica features a FamCam interior camera that gives a view of children in rear-facing child seats. With Stow ‘n Go seating, the Pacifica is never hurting for available space, and the seats won’t get in the way when stowed. Behind the third row of seats, you will find 32.3 cu.ft. of cargo space. Folding the third row opens that up to 87.5 cu.ft., and folding the second row of seats gives owners 140.5 cu.ft. of cargo capacity. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety has given the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica their coveted Top Safety Pick award. This means that the Pacifica is not only one of the best offerings for families, according to U.S. News & World Report, but is verified as one of the safest family vehicles on the market by the IIHS. Since the Jeep Wrangler debuted in 1986 as a successor to the first-ever mass-produced four-wheel drive passenger vehicle, the Jeep CJ, the American public can’t get enough. Whether it’s a special edition or just a base model, the Wrangler is one of the best-selling off-road vehicles ever. It has genuine chops for going over the mountains and through the hills. In August of last year, Jeep announced the sale of their five millionth Wrangler, which turned out to be a 4xe Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition. Cars.com Best SUV Of 2024 As a do-it-all SUV, the Wrangler has been named by Cars.com as their Best SUV of 2024, which shows that the latest updates and upgrades to the off-roader have increased its usability. A Word From Jeep “The Jeep Wrangler is the ultimate adventure vehicle and the icon of the brand,” said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America. “Since Wrangler’s introduction, the Jeep brand has sold more than 5 million around the world, setting new levels of 4x4 capability with each new generation. The new 2024 Wrangler raises the bar once again, combining more capability, technology, comfort and safety features with the freedom to choose from four different powertrains, including our electrified 4xe, the best-selling PHEV in America.” Engines & Transmission Buyers can choose between the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that outputs 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, or the Rubicon 392 with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.  The well-loved 4xe plug-in hybrid is available with a battery pack accompanying the 2-liter turbo inline-4 that has a combined output of 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, as well as a range of 370 miles with up to 21 miles of pure-EV range. UConnect Wins AutoBlog Award

Autoblog Declares UConnect as Best Overall Infotainment System

Some of us can remember when using a vehicle’s connection to the outside world consisted of turning a knob that both turned on the system and controlled the volume and pushing another button that brought in a pre-set radio station. It was laugh-out-loud limiting compared to today, but it sure was easy to use. By popular demand, today’s systems are vastly more complex. In addition to radio, they can tap into several other content sources, help us safely converse on our smartphones, and either through the smartphone or on its own, help us find where we are going. Those are just the basics. Most can help you adjust settings for various systems; some may provide in-car performance data or pitch and angle information for off-roading, and the list goes on from there. It is such an essential part of the driving experience enthusiast site Autoblog decided to rate the best infotainment systems independently of the vehicles they were in, and Benna CDJR is happy to inform you that they judged the UConnect system used on all Stellantis models as the best overall system. Ease of Use is Praised While Autoblog immediately states that “Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter.” After test-driving countless vehicles, they feel confident in judging some systems better than others. They state that the one system all of their editors can agree is excellent is UConnect.  The system was praised for its simplicity of use, which they deem most important when having operating controls on a touchscreen while driving. An essential point to UConnect’s ease of use is the permanent bottom menu with touch control icons that take you to all major systems, such as media, navigation, smartphone interface, and others. They point out that radio station changing is straightforward, which can often be a multi-step process on some systems and, as mentioned above, used to be performed by pushing a single button. Works Well in all Applications Stellantis is also praised for making this system easily adaptable to whatever screen the vehicle offers. So it works just as well with the Ram 1500’s 12-inch vertical screen as it does the 10.1-inch horizontal display on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Uconnect 5 is declared more attractive than UConnect 4 (found on the outgoing Dodge Charger and Challenger) but retains the same ease of use. They conclude: “UConnect is flexible, easy to operate and aesthetically pleasing. It’s high-tech, but doesn’t slap you upside the head with unnecessary features and complications, and it’s our favorite infotainment system of all.” The Uconnect system is present on all Stellantis models, so you can be assured that whichever vehicle you prefer at Benna Crysler Dodge Jeep Ram will have the award-winning UConnect system.
