Performance

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is powered by a combination of the Pentastar V6 and two electric drive motors (EDMs) through a 130kW generator. The EDMs combine the motor, gearbox, and inverter with all-wheel drive capability. The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger features one EDM on the front axle with an automatic wheel-end disconnect that allows the front wheels to spin freely in certain conditions, maximizing efficiency. The second EDM is positioned on the rear axle with an available electronic-locking rear differential.

This driveline yields 663 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque. With so much power, Ram clocked a 0-60 MPH time of 4.4 seconds. This driveline is capable of towing up to 14,000 pounds and has a maximum payload rating of 2,625 pounds.

Energy for the EDMs comes from a 92 kW battery. The rechargeable battery can be plugged in through either a Level 2 plug or a DC Fast Charger. With 400-volt DC fast charging at up to 145 kilowatts, you can add up to 50 miles of all-electric range in just 10 minutes. As for range, it can yield 690 miles combined with both a full battery and fuel tank.

Driving the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is also easy when you enable One-Pedal Driving. You do not have to press the brake pedal to stop this pickup truck. Just let off the accelerator pedal, and it will stop for you. To start, just press the accelerator pedal again.

This is one of the first Ram pickups to ride on the Stellantis STLA body-on-frame architecture. This will be the platform for all electrified pickup trucks. Yet, it is specifically built for this application to ensure the performance and capacity a pickup truck owner needs.

Exterior

All 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger models receive a distinctive front end with signature LED lights. Strips of LED lighting are seen across the grille. The lights are activated as the driver approaches the vehicle. Inside the cabin, you can easily track the charging status on the touchscreen and digital gauge. The updated cab and box strengthen the exterior design of the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger.

A new lighting signature is seen in the rear of the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, with extended horizontal LED lights across the tailgate. On the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger models, you can get a power-operated tailgate to make loading into the box easier.
