The 2025 Jeep Gladiator is the do-it-all adventure truck with a unique Jeep flare. Buyers love the Wrangler-like style and fun but with the addition of a 5.5-foot truck bed. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that powers the Jeep truck is a tried-and-true staple of the Jeep brand.

Owning a Jeep is not just something you do. It’s a lifestyle, and the 2025 Gladiator takes that a step further by adding more everyday usability without sacrificing the off-road prowess that makes a Jeep a Jeep. The 2025 Gladiator can go through up to 31.5 inches of water.

Buyers can choose from eight unique trims (Sport, Sport S, NightHawk, Willys, Mojave, Mojave X, Rubicon, and Rubicon X) that range from more on-road usability to more off-road usability.

Performance

Powering the 2025 Gladiator is the Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic. Note that the Gladiator is now exclusively equipped with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2025 Gladiator is able to tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped with the Max Tow package, or up to 4,000 pounds without the package. The 5.5-foot truck bed can handle up to 1,725 pounds of payload depending on trim level.

Buyers will love the heritage models like the Willys, Rubicon, and Mojave trim levels that offer varying equipment for off-road use.

The 2025 Gladiator Willys model features a Tru-Lok rear-axle locker, the ability to change driving modes with Off-road+, 32-inch mud tires, trailer tow with programmable auxiliary switches, steel rock rails, and LED front fog lights. The Off-road+ mode adjusts throttle, transmission shift points, and traction control for peak performance on higher-speed passes on sand terrain and during low-speed rock crawling. It also enables the rear axle to be locked in 4-HI.

The 2025 Mojave takes that a little further with Command-Trac part-time transfer case with 2.72:1 4LO ratio, Tru-Lok rear-axle locker, high-clearance black fender flares, off-road Dana 44 axles, performance hood with center scoop, FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks with reservoirs, FOX front hydro jounce bumpers, 1-inch front suspension lift, Off-Road+ mode, trailer tow and programmable auxiliary switches, and steel front and rear bumpers.

The 2025 Rubicon model is more of a rock-crawling off-road special compared to the faster off-road speed attitude of the 2025 Mojave. It has some of the same features as the Mojave but adds Rock-Trac part-time transfer case with 4:1 4LO ratio, electronic front sway-bar disconnect, Tru-Lok front- and rear-axle lockers, steel rock rails for the cab and bed corners, and dual-vented hood.

Exterior

The design of the 2025 Gladiator is meant to be pretty much identical to the Wrangler, right down to the removable doors. Whether you are seeing the big round headlights, its trademark seven-slot grille, or the square LED taillights, there is no mistaking that the 2025 Gladiator is a Jeep. However, the Gladiator is unique in that it has a bed and an extra 19.4 inches between the front and rear wheels to give the truck better ride quality and handling.

The Sport, Sport S, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon models all have the availability of a soft top, while Mojave X and Rubicon X have a body-colored hardtop. Both tops are able to be completely removed for a completely open cockpit. As mentioned above, the 2025 Gladiator has a 5.5-foot bed that buyers can option with a spray-in bedliner. All models have standard 17-inch wheels with varying styles that are optional depending on the trim level, with seven different designs available. For 2025, Fathom Blue and military olive drab-inspired ’41 exterior paint colors are added.

Interior

Inside, passengers will find a dashboard that is upright and has all that you need at your fingertips, plus plenty of extra storage options to keep things safely stowed for when the road less traveled gets bumpy. The 2025 Jeep Gladiator features plenty of knobs and buttons instead of some modern cars that force you to dig into the infotainment system to change anything and everything.

All 2025 Gladiator models have a waterproof push button starter. Sport, Sport S, and Willys models all feature comfortable cloth seats, with Mojave and above having available leather-trimmed seats with sport bolstering. Sport S and above can be optioned with heated seats and steering wheel. Mojave X and Rubicon X models have 12-way power adjustable front seats that are also heated.

Rear seat passengers will have plenty of space to spread out with 38.3 inches of legroom, up to 42.8 inches of headroom, 55.7 inches of shoulder room, and 55.9 inches of hip room. Power locks and power windows come standard across the lineup. Available Active Cabin Ventilation allows owners to pre-condition the cabin (via the Jeep Connect mobile app) before entering the vehicle, evacuating hot air in warmer weather.

Technology

Standard on all models is a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen display, with Mojave and up having the same screen and Uconnect 5 but with navigation built in. Sport S and above also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A nine-speaker Alpine sound system with an all-weather subwoofer and a 552-watt amplifier is optional.

The Uconnect 5 system offers several special features: Jeep Adventure Guides featuring Trails Offroad, five user profiles and a valet mode that allows you to customize various preferences, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and more.

A 115-volt three-prong power outlet is available in the center console, and 12-volt outlets are placed throughout the cabin, as are up to seven USB ports, including two USB-C ports.

Safety and Driver Assistance

All 2025 Jeep Gladiator models come available with over 85 advanced safety features, including advanced cruise control and forward collision warning (standard on Sport S and above trim levels), plus standard front and rear side-curtain airbags. Jeep has made structural improvements for extra side-impact safety.

Mojave X and Rubicon X get standard blind-spot and cross-path detection plus ParkSense rear park-assist system. These features are available on Sport S, Willys, Mojave and Rubicon. A ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines, traction control, and electronic stability control (ESC) with electronic roll mitigation are standard on all models.
