Performance

The 2025 Ram 1500 is now powered by the new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline six-cylinder engine. It is available in two power levels—420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque, and a High Output rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. A 305-horsepower Pentastar V-6 with eTorque is standard on Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, and Big Horn models. Power is channeled through an eight-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels or all four wheels.

Trailer towing is among the highest in its class, with maximum tow ratings up to 11,580 pounds. It can also carry loads with a maximum payload rating of up to 2,370 pounds.

Ride quality is important. The 2025 Ram 1500 was the first to offer four-wheel independent suspension in its class. The rear suspension is a five-link setup engineered to balance loads and manage roads. Available is the active-level four-corner air suspension system. It smooths out the ride of your 2025 Ram 1500 even further, while leveling out the load and/or towing.

RHO models get upgraded off-road suspension with Bilstein e2 Blackhawk active damping twin-tube shock absorbers. This off-road variant also gets upgraded brakes, full-time transfer case, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, a higher ground clearance, skid plates, and more.

Exterior

The updated cab and box strengthen the exterior design of the 2025 Ram 1500. Each trim level has its own grille and wheel design to distinguish one from another. Tradesman models have a black plastic grille with a black bumper and 18-inch painted steel painted wheels standard. The Tradesman HFE adds more fuel efficiency and some chrome to the wheels and badges. Our popular Big Horn model adds even more chrome to the grille surround and bumpers. The new Warlock model is all blacked-out from the grille onward.

The Laramie model adds more luxury trim with its own grille texture and larger 20-inch wheels. Rebel models always have a sportier, off-road appearance with blacked-out finishes and graphics. If you want maximum off-road presence, look no further than the RHO. It continues the legacy of the TRX with the same DNA, except this time it’s powered by the Hurricane High Output Straight-Six Turbo (SST) engine instead of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8.

The Limited model continues to give you the finest appointments on the outside to reflect what’s inside. For a true feel of the Old West, it starts with the exterior of the Limited Longhorn wearing chrome with pride. The ultimate expression of the pickup truck is the brand-new Tungsten model. The unique chrome grille is beautifully augmented by a set of 22-inch aluminum wheels.

You can add the RamBox storage system that hides your most valuable tools in a locked compartment on each side of the box. There’s also a power open/close tailgate, and you can lower the tailgate with the key fob.

Exterior colors for 2025 include Diamond Black, Bright White, Ivory White Tri-coat, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Hydro Blue, River Rock, Baltic Grey, and Billet Silver.

Interior

The 2025 Ram 1500 always had the best cabin in its class. It still does, with each trim level reflecting a specific personality. The Tradesman is a work truck, so it is made to be durable and tough at job sites. The Big Horn is a comfortable, everyday pickup truck. The Laramie adds more luxury, while the Limited raises the bar even further. Expect sportier trim in the Warlock and Rebel. The RHO is designed for exceeding limits with heavier seat bolsters. The new Uconnect 5 system combines with the most screen coverage in the segment, including an available new 14.5-inch touchscreen and a segment-first 10.25-inch passenger screen. Also available is a digital rearview mirror, full-color Head Up Display (HUD), and 360-degree Surround View camera. Some models feature up to 23 speakers thanks to an ultra-premium and best-in-class 1,228-watt Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system.

For connectivity, you get wireless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also available is a class-exclusive dual wireless phone charging pad, along with Smart Phone as a Key technology, which allows you to lock and unlock your 2025 Ram 1500 using your phone.
