The 2025 Ram ProMaster offers many options for commercial companies, businesses, and private parties that need vehicles that can haul equipment, packages, or people—and tow a trailer. The Ram is unchanged for 2025, as it continues to offer the same performance and abilities that have made the ProMaster a popular choice for companies worldwide. These include best-in-class cargo volume, turning radius, standard interior cargo height, load floor height, cargo width between the wheel wells, and maximum cargo width.

Performance

The ProMaster's powertrain is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, which produces 276 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The Pentastar is the Stellantis brand's gold standard engine, and its reliability and good power and torque without turbocharging or supercharging make it a worthy engine for such a van. The power is transferred to the front wheels by a nine-speed automatic transmission, which ensures the Ram is always in the right gear for the task at hand. Max towing capacity is 6,910 pounds with a max payload of 4,680 pounds.

Standard-roof models offer a 66-inch cargo height and 304 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. The high-roof models have a 77-inch cargo door height and 463 cubic feet of capacity. Super high-roof models offer the largest capacities, with an 86-inch cargo height and 524 cubic feet of space. All ProMaster vans have a max cargo width of 6-foot 3-inches and 4-feet 8-inches between the wheel wells. The Ram has the lowest in-class load floor height of just 21 inches. The ProMaster cargo area can be extended to 8, 10, 12, and 13 feet. The super high-roof models can be equipped with a roll-up door.

Exterior

The ProMaster can be configured in various ways depending on the needs to be met. Trims include Tradesman, SLT, and SLT+. The van can be optioned as a 1500, 2500, or 3500 in cargo, window, or cutaway configurations. Its wheelbase ranges from 118 inches to 159 inches, and it can be had with a low-roof, high-roof, or super high-roof. In all, the 2025 Ram ProMaster is available in 16 different wheelbase and roof height configurations.

Interior

In crew van trim, the ProMaster can be outfitted to seat up to six total passengers. The front can be either a bench seat for three, two bucket seats, or two bucket seats that can swivel. Behind the rear seats is a partition that keeps the cabin secure from loads in the rear of the van. All the seats are cloth. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available, as is a headliner storage area above the driver and passenger’s head. Cargo van models can have a three-person cloth bench seat, dual cloth bucket seats, or leather or cloth swivel seats.

Technology

Standard tech features include a 7.0-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen or an available 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen display that can be put into split-screen mode. The ProMaster has excellent connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to easily control music and information in the van while also being able to control an available 360 Surround View Camera, TomTom navigation, wireless phone charger, and the ability to connect to Bluetooth phones at the same time. The van can also include a telematic box module. All of this makes the 2025 Ram ProMaster the most technologically advanced model yet.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The 2025 Ram ProMaster is the safest a Ram van has ever been, with safety features that include Active Drive Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Emergency Brake Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, Crosswind Assist, and Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist.

Thanks to the rear-facing camera, the ProMaster has a digital rearview mirror with an LCD monitor that will automatically dim the headlights of vehicles behind you.
