MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge, held on August 10, 2024, featured the worldwide debut of the all-new Dodge Charger Daytona, the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car, led by the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack.

New Dodge Charger Daytona Debuts at Roadkill Nights

The latest all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona debuted to the public at the 2024 MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge during the world-famous Woodward Dream Cruise. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona features two models: the Scat Pack with 670 horsepower and the R/T with 496 horsepower. The Daytona Scat Pack can rip the pavement into submission on its way to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The History of the Woodward Dream Cruise With its roots dating back to 1848, the Woodward Dream Cruise has always occurred on the legendary Woodward Avenue that spans from Ferndale to Pontiac, Michigan. Even though there weren’t cars back in the mid-1800s, there were buggies and carriages that people used to race along the wide streets, which saw even more widespread racing action starting in 1958. These days, old and new Dodge cars and trucks street race for money and bragging rights. A Special EV Exhaust System As the next generation of the Charger, the Scat Pack and R/T will have a unique and proprietary Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system that will give the Charger EV a glorious and unmistakable sound that can make anyone worried about a muscle car with an electric motor sold on the way of the future. Engine Options This is obviously the first time the Dodge Charger has ever been electrified. However, multiple engines will power the new car, including the 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 Hurricane High Output engine called the Sixpack H.O., which will develop 550 horsepower, or a Standard Output (S.O.) version of the Hurricane, which will produce 420 horsepower. All models will be built in the Windsor, Ontario, assembly plant. Special Driving Modes Scat Pack models will receive various modes, allowing owners to customize their driving experience on the fly. A Drift mode will enable drivers to change between three different slip angles: a Donut mode, Line Lock, Launch Control, and Race Prep. Race Prep is meant for drag or track racing and pre-warms the battery to give optimal performance for a period of time. Owners will also be able to use Performance Pages to access information with lap timers, g-meters, various gauges, and power information. At Krusen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services around. With dozens of new and used vehicles to choose from, our excellent sales team and finance department will work hard to make sure you drive away happy. Our fantastic service department will take care of your new-to-you vehicle as if it were their own. We look forward to serving you soon.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe EV Range

How Far Can a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Run On EV Power?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe works on two types of energy sources: Gasoline and electricity. Using the 4xe’s rechargeable battery pack, your Grand Cherokee can run an estimated 25 miles on a full charge. The turbocharged gasoline engine is not used at all; it is just pure electric propulsion, including instant torque. Running on battery power makes sense when coming to the Twin Ports area. Even if you’re detouring away from the Blatnik Bridge construction, you can still go from Superior to the Duluth Airport without using one drop of fuel. The actual battery range can vary by weather and climate. Cars.com recently tested the Grand Cherokee 4xe during a “mild winter day” and got 21.9 miles of range out of the battery. It is true that colder temperatures could affect battery range. The same is said about hot days, too. When your battery pack runs down to almost empty, the 4xe system switches to the turbocharged gasoline engine. You may have a few drops of electrons left, and some more could be recoverable through regenerative braking. There may be occasions when you start off using the electric motor and then switch to the gasoline engine without any interruption. The switch between the two power sources is very seamless. Recharging is easy. It can take up to a Level 2 charge either at home or at a public charging station. You can install a Level 2 charger for your home. A wall-mounted Free2Move or Jeep brand charger is available through Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. You could also get a wall-mounted charger from another source. There are plenty of electricians in the Twin Ports area who can assist you in installing your own home charger. If you’re looking for a charging station, Jeep has you covered. You will find them in downtown Duluth and on the campus of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The Jeep website, as well as other apps, can assist you in finding a spot to charge up the Grand Cherokee 4xe when you are away from home. Of course, you can take your Grand Cherokee 4xe off-road. Your battery pack is protected from water up to 24 inches of wading depth. If you are ready to join the plug-in hybrid revolution, contact us at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to experience the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s ability to run on gasoline or electricity.

2024 Jeep® Wagoneer S Charging Port Close-Up Plugged In

Introducing the All-new, All-electric 2024 Jeep® Wagoneer S

Jeep has introduced the Wagoneer S as its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV), which is expected to go on sale in the latter half of summer 2024. Though this is the brand’s first BEV, it builds on the experience of having the best-selling plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in the U.S. for the past three years with the Wrangler 4xe. Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is excited about the arrival of this beautiful and high-performing addition to the Jeep model line. The Wagoneer S is a distinct departure from the existing Wagoneer models, boasting a unique platform, exterior and interior design, and, of course, a completely different drivetrain. Yet, it retains the hallmark luxury, refinement, and capability synonymous with the Wagoneer name, promising a thrilling and luxurious driving experience. Electrifying Drivetrain The Wagoneer S's motors combine to deliver a staggering 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque. To put that into perspective, the Grand Wagoneer L produces 510 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. But what truly sets the Wagoneer S apart is the instantaneous power of its electric motors, with that 617 lb-ft fully available the moment the engine starts turning. This translates into a heart-pounding 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds, a level of acceleration once the exclusive domain of exotic sports cars. The Wagoneer S is estimated to have an impressive operating range of over 300 miles. Thanks to its efficient 400-volt architecture, the 100 kWh battery pack can charge from 20 - 80% in a mere 23 minutes on a fast DC charger, ensuring that you spend more time on the road and less time waiting for your vehicle to charge. “The launch of the all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S marks a new chapter in the storied history of the Jeep brand,” said Antonio Filosa, Jeep Brand CEO. “Building upon nearly a century of innovation and design, this first global EV will introduce a whole new generation of owners to an experience that is distinctly Jeep and 100% electric in every way. With new energy in the Jeep vehicle lineup, ranging from EV to V-8, customers have never had more freedom to choose their own adventure.” Smooth, Silent and Capable All Wagoneer S models will feature four-wheel drive using Stellantis-designed electric drive modules (EDMs), which independently power the front and rear wheels. These 3-in-1 EDMs combine the electric motor, gearing, and power electronics into a single, compact unit. Each EDM is managed by the Jeep brand-exclusive Selec-Terrain traction management system, which features five distinct driving modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand. All drivetrain adjustments are made with electronic precision. To help optimize highway range, the front EDM is equipped with wheel disconnects to enable the wheels to spin freely. With no pistons, valves, or any other reciprocating parts, electric motors are inherently smooth and quiet. Jeep designers capitalized on that with a body as smooth as the drivetrain. Aerodynamic surfacing is evident by the precise slope and curvature of the hood and windshield, both angled for optimal performance and efficiency at high speeds. A sloping roofline cascades beneath a cantilevered rear spoiler, bridging function and aesthetics with its signature Wagoneer silhouette. The roof and rear spoiler are angled to reduce wake size, flush door handles minimize air disruption along the sides, and several underbody shields and spats control airflow away from tires to minimize drag. The result is a coefficient of drag (CD) of 0.29, which is the lowest CD ever for a Jeep vehicle and approximately 15% better than the average SUV. No longer needed for engine cooling, the iconic seven-slot grille is now a lighting element that greets you when you approach the front of the vehicle. Launch Edition Comes First The first Wagoneer S to arrive at dealers will be the fully equipped Launch Edition, and every Launch Edition model purchase will include a 48-amp Level 2 home charger. For those for whom installing a home charger is impractical, there is an alternative choice of charging credits through the Free2move Charge ecosystem. The dash is a work of art, incorporating 45 inches of screen space in the Launch Edition. It starts with the driver’s configurable digital gauge cluster. It moves to a large 12.3-inch center touchscreen, with a subsequent display below for climate controls and an interactive display for the front passenger. Unbeatable McIntosh Audio System Another star of the Launch Edition that will undoubtedly carry over to subsequent Wagoneer S trims is the spectacular McIntosh signature audio system. McIntosh has the respect of Audiophiles around the world. This 1,200-watt, 19-speaker system, including a 12-inch subwoofer, combined with the Wagoneer S’ silent running, delivers precisely the high-performance system audio one expects from McIntosh. Technology naturally expands to safety, and the Launch Edition is fitted with Active Driving Assist, Intersection Collision Assist, Drowsy Driver Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, and a Surround View camera, all of which can be expected to be standard or available on subsequent models. Coming to Benna The Wagoneer S is a groundbreaking Jeep model that is sure to change many drivers' perceptions of electric vehicles. Make sure you experience the Wagoneer S for yourself. It may be in the Benna CDJR inventory by the time you read this. If not, contact one of our sales professionals and have them inform you when the first models arrive.

Dodge Charger EV

The Dodge EV Muscle Lineup

The Dodge Charger is back and better than ever. Sadly, the V8s are gone, but in their place are some very intriguing motors that create a lot of muscle without much effort. You will be able to get the Charger in either two or four doors, in hatchback form, with an EV or a twin-turbo inline-6 in Standard Output (S.O.) or High Output (H.O.). Every model will come with all-wheel drive available. Once you read about the power outputs, you’ll understand why drivers are going to need it. The biggest news about the 2024 and 2025 Dodge Charger is the introduction of electric motors. The 2024 Charger Daytona will have 496 horsepower in R/T trim via a Stage 1 kit from Dodge Direct Connection and 670 horsepower with the Stage 2 kit Scat Pack. These kits will only be available for the first model year cars in 2024. Both cars have a 100.5 kWh battery with an estimated range of 317 miles for the R/T and 260 miles for the Scat Pack. Dodge says the Charger Daytona Scat Pack will reach 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. However, for 2025, when buying the R/T and Scat Pack, buyers must purchase the Direct Connection Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits. Without the kits, the power will be 456 horsepower for the R/T and 590 for the Scat Pack. “The electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance and announces its presence through the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, while Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “The next generation of Dodge muscle has arrived.” The Daytona R/T will ride on 18-inch wheels, while the Scat Pack will have 21-inch wheels. Both models have fully independent suspension, and an optional Track Pack adds adaptive dampers. For 2024, both cars will have Brembo brakes with 16.1-inch rotors. To help set both the R/T and Scat Pack apart on the inside, they will have different seating surfaces and screen sizes. The R/T will feature a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, whereas the Scat Pack will have a 16-inch screen. However, the R/T can be optioned with the larger screen. Both cars will have a 12.3-inch center infotainment display. A premium 18-speaker Alpine system and an augmented reality head-up display will be available to project a large field of view with virtual image distance. Buyers looking to get into a Charger with a gas motor will have to wait until 2025. The 2025 Charger will be called the Sixpack and is available in S.O. (standard output) and H.O. (high output). The only engine will be the amazing 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 Hurricane that will produce 420 horsepower in S.O. and 550 horsepower in H.O. Dodge Charger Daytona EV models will also have unique drive modes, which include Drag, Track, Drift, and Donut. Drift mode allows drivers to choose between three different slip angles, with torque being biased to the rear axle, and the front axle will maintain the slip angle. Donut mode will allow the Charger to spin only the rear wheels without the traction control trying to limit you. Daytona models will also feature a patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered exhaust system. This system will incorporate two passive radiators that will create Hellcat levels of sound. However, you can use Stealth Mode to avoid exhaust sound. The Chrysler Halcyon Concept exemplifies a fully electrified fut

Chrysler Will Unveil Innovative Electric Concept Car

A significant part of the automotive future is the electric vehicle, and with more automakers producing EVs and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, the technology is advancing quickly, and customers are benefiting from all the new choices. Chrysler has wasted no time in creating a concept that is exciting to everyone with its unique styling, excellent features, and the promise of advanced technology. Welcome the Chrysler Halcyon Concept. All-Electric Future Chrysler will be bringing their first electric vehicle to market in 2025, with an all-electric brand of cars coming in 2028. The Halcyon Concept uses the brand’s STLA Large platform, which incorporates both 400-volt and 800-volt electric architecture and will have a range of 500 miles. The Concept has an interior that is made up of 95% sustainable materials with Chrysler logos made from crushed and recycled CDs. Interesting Features One interesting feature that the Halcyon borrows from the Dodge and Chrysler minivans is the future of Stow ‘n Go, allowing the rear seats to fold into the trunk area for maximum cargo capacity. It was a genius idea for the minivan world, and it can only be even more brilliant for an EV that already has more space than an internal combustion engine car. A Word From Chrysler “The Chrysler Halcyon Concept creates a level of serenity that fully represents the Halcyon name. The Halcyon showcases innovative and sustainable mobility solutions that embrace technology and offer value to customers while delivering Harmony in Motion,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler Brand CEO – Stellantis. “The Chrysler Halcyon Concept brings to life a fully electric tomorrow through new technology suites from Stellantis that integrate with simple and pure aerodynamic design and a seamless, connected and immersive cockpit experience.” Special Design and Interior It has a wide-open cabin that allows for lots of natural light, and it also has supreme safety with nearly 360 degrees of visibility. The interior also features a beautiful 15.6-inch center console-mounted infotainment touchscreen that can be used in either portrait or landscape orientations. The Halcyon will also have a fullscreen head-up display that will share all the relevant driving information you need. Each Halcyon Concept EV will be powered by artificial intelligence, allowing you to talk to the car and ask or request pretty much anything, whether it be news, changing the temperature, or asking for directions. With all of this technology, there will be no need for an instrument cluster. All-New Battery Tech By far, the most impressive new technology will be the use of truly visionary Lyten 800-volt lithium-sulfur EV batteries that do away with nickel, cobalt, and manganese, meaning the Halcyon Concept and other future Chrysler EVs can be as much as 60% more environmentally friendly with their carbon footprint. The Future Is Bright Even though it may be a concept car, the Halcyon is showcasing the future that Chrysler is planning for their customers, and it looks to be a very bright one indeed. At Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services. With dozens of new and used vehicles to choose from, our excellent sales team and finance department will work hard to make sure you drive away happy. Ram 1500 EV Concept

Thinking of Everything to Build a Truck Unlike Anything

Looking to raise the standard in the electric pickup market is the concept of the 2024 Ram EV Pickup. What is an EV vehicle? An EV or an Electric Vehicle is a car that is powered by an electric motor and a rechargeable battery rather than a traditional gasoline or diesel engine. It produces no emissions and is environmentally friendly. Ram has always been ahead of the curve, building some of the most iconic trucks. We are excited here at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM to be announcing some of the incredible technological advances that have put this new vehicle at the top of the EV pickup list. Dreaming Big and Pushing Boundaries With all the competition out there, Ram is gearing to surpass the competition in range, towing, payload, charge time, and innovative technology that is about to change the game. RAM's EV pickup concept is set to debut in 2024 and boasts impressive specs and features that set it apart from other EV pickups on the market. Ram's “Shadow mode” is a remarkable new feature that uses sensors and cameras to follow drivers as they walk ahead of the vehicle at a safe distance, avoiding obstacles along the way. Also, there will be a new charger with smart technology that allows this charger to detect when the vehicle is near. This robot can detect not only the presence of vehicles but also its charging needs. It will then automatically move into position and align itself under the vehicle. More Amazing Benefits One of the biggest concerns for EV drivers is range anxiety or the fear of running out of battery power while on the road. RAM's EV pickup concept addresses this concern with an impressive range of over 500 miles on a single charge. This range is thanks to the vehicle's advanced battery technology and efficient electric motor. Another feature that is unique is that it does not sacrifice power for efficiency. This vehicle boasts impressive performance with a 0-60 mph time of just over 4 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph. The vehicle's electric motor delivers instant torque for quick acceleration and responsive handling. Pickup trucks are known for their towing and payload capabilities, and RAM's EV pickup concept is no exception. This vehicle has a towing capacity of up to 11,000 pounds and a payload capacity of up to 2,000 pounds. These capabilities make the RAM EV pickup concept a versatile vehicle that can handle both work and play. The Future is Electric RAM's 2024 EV pickup concept is poised to surpass the competition in the EV pickup market thanks to its impressive range, powerful performance, robust towing and payload capacity, innovative features, sustainable materials, and competitive pricing. The design team was told to dream big and push boundaries, and after seeing the visuals of this new EV, you can see they have followed through on the design. The new Ram EV pickup is so sleek, sporty, and still has that bruty feel that Ram enthusiast love. This vehicle represents the future of pickup trucks and sets a new standard for efficiency, performance, and sustainability.

Ubitricity Lamp Post Charger in Liverpool

Liverpool, UK Adds Chargers to Lamp Posts for Curbside EV Charging

As Benna CDJR awaits the arrival of Stellantis Battery Electric Vehicles, it is clear that one of the paradoxes of EVs is that they are the least practical for a group that would probably be most open to the idea. That would be young urbanites. Driving distances are shorter in the city, and much of it involves stop-and-go driving, both of which work in EV’s favor. The younger demographic is also generally more environmentally conscious (they have to live with the consequences longer) and less established in their automotive preferences. The problem is that many of them live in apartments where they have no means of charging overnight. The city of Liverpool, UK, has plans for at least a partial solution. Adding 300 Chargers to the City The plan is to install Level 2 chargers on lampposts that line the city streets for use by cars parking curbside. A company called Ubitricity plans to install 300 such charge points around Liverpool. When added to the 150 charge points already in the city, this will give Liverpool the status of third largest public charging network in the country. London and Coventry are first and second, respectively Regarding London, they are also planning to have Ubitricity add 500 chargers to lampposts in the Westminster area of London. London has a fairly robust charging infrastructure already having had over 6000 public chargers since 2018. " This program puts down a real mark of intent to provide the necessary infrastructure to help the move away from petrol and diesel-powered cars," said Liverpool city councilor Dan Barrington. "The fact that the roll-out is being led by community requests means the points are going where the demand is needed most which means they'll be getting maximum usage." What the system has going for it is taking advantage of existing electric infrastructure. Ubitricity will be attached 5kW chargers to the lamp posts. They might not fully charge a depleted Hummer EV Pickup overnight, but they could be expected to fully charge the average EV owned by a city dweller. This is presently thought to be one of the most cost-effective and accessible EV charging infrastructure ideas that could be replicated in the U.S. Due in large part to its size, charging infrastructure in the US by Tesla, Electrify America, ChargePoint, and others has mostly focused on collective charging locations featuring DC-direct fast charging for people traveling from one part of the country to another and adding charging locations to office parking lots.  That still leaves out many apartment renters looking to charge their commuters. Would it Work in the U.S.? The idea raises several questions in terms of its viability in the U.S. City curbside parking is often in short supply, so would the chances of finding available chargers be too haphazard for city EV drivers to feel confident in their charging ability? Would there be a backlash when spaces by street lamps are reserved for EVs? Would hooligans roam the streets with cable cutters just for spite? And are apartments structured differently enough in the U.S. that promoting charging ability within apartment complex parking would be more effective?  These questions and many more are likely to be asked by city planners across the U.S. as they closely watch the Liverpool plan. In any case, such changes probably may not come to the Superior area any time soon. If you have a place to charge overnight, the EVs planned by Stellantis and coming to Benna CDJR may work for you.

How Did Electric Vehicles Get Their Start?

Whether you’ve been searching for your next vehicle or just spent some time on the road, you’ve probably noticed the growing numbers of electric vehicles and charging stations. That’s because many car manufacturers like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM have committed to electrifying the future by producing emission-free vehicles. But did you know that the EV isn’t actually a recent phenomenon? In fact, they’ve been around for nearly 200 years, and you can learn more about how they started and where they’re headed with Benna CDJR. Rocky Start to Worldwide Takeover Most people think of the Model T or other combustion engine when they think of the first car. However, in an effort to distance from horse and buggies, people of the early 1800s found ways to produce the first true electric vehicles. Of course, the technology of the time wasn’t up to par, and problems like a top speed of 14 MPH and single-use batteries were impractical. As innovation continued, there were some improvements, but all of those were trampled by the affordable cars made by Ford in the early 1900s and EVs were essentially forgotten. That is, until the gas crisis of the 1970s made people rethink the way they traveled. Drivers worldwide were looking for ways to reduce their dependence on gasoline, and engineers got to work making a modern electric car that drivers would actually want to use. It took nearly 20 years, but eventually the Toyota Prius was released to immediate worldwide success. The Prius made huge waves with the convenient hybrid model, and other automakers took notice. With the success of the Tesla and other early hybrid and electric vehicles, it was the first time in history that the EV could become a reality. Fast forward to today’s climate crisis and rising costs, and there’s more value in an electric vehicle than ever before. Electric vehicles are no longer limited to tiny cars with short range; in fact, there are options for every driver’s needs. There’s the Chrysler Pacifica hybrid that boosts milage for families looking to save on fuel, and the new Dodge Hornet, a hybrid compact SUV that’s as affordable as it is convenient. Even muscle car enthusiasts can get in on the electric revolution, with plans for electric Charger and Challenger models coming in the next few years. RAM fans can get everything they want out of a truck in a platform they recognize with a hybrid engine they’ll love. So even though it seems that things are moving fast, it’s really been nearly two centuries in the making for an all-electric world. Find Your EV at Benna CDJR Are you interested in joining the revolution? Find your next hybrid or electric vehicle at Benna CDJR! New models are arriving soon, so contact us today to learn more about an EV that’s right for you.

Ram 1500 Revolution EV pickup concept includes 3rd row

Ram’s ancestral brand Dodge, pioneered the extended Club Cab and 4-door Crew Cabs for the modern pickup. These are Ideas were so popular that almost every Ram 1500 in our Benna CDJR inventory now has 4-doors. Ram is continuing that tradition by floating the idea of a third row of seats in their Ram 1500 Revolution EV pickup concept. Anticipating this production idea into actuality. Such a possibility is a direct result of the greater flexibility that comes with electric vehicles. Beginning with the fact that electric motors are a fraction of the size of equivalently-powered gas engines. Batteries can be flat, and positioned under the floor freeing the need to find space for a fuel tank. Add the elimination of a transmission and drive shaft, and you have significantly increased space to work with than a gas-powered vehicle with the same purpose. From the frame up, designers viewed the Revolution as a "clean sheet of paper," said Ryan Nagode, chief designer of Ram truck/commercial interior studios, who states that their goal was making the pickup truck more user-friendly and versatile. The 3rd row consists of jump seats, which can be folded out for use or retracted for extra cabin space. To make room, the Ram 1500 Revolution cab is four inches longer then the current Ram 1500 and is pushed forward into the smaller front section that no longer houses an engine. "We really wanted to make sure that cabin space was as optimized as it possibly could," Nagode told Automotive News. "When you move some of that stuff forward, we knew we wanted to maintain a decent-size bed. Those inches that you were gaining were going right into the cabin, and the idea was just to flex this space." Additional innovation includes a vertically-split tailgate hinged on each side, which when combined with an extendable bed floor with flip up panels at the end, significantly increases the length of the cargo bed. For even more cargo space, the “midgate” between the cabin and bed can retract the rear window and fold forward to be flat with the cargo bed. With this added combined enhancement of the extended bed, the 1500 Revolution can haul objects as long as 18 feet. Inside the cabin, both seats and the console can be repositioned by a rail attachment system in the floor the designers named “Ram Track”. This rail system actually extends to the “frunk”, which is the lockable cargo space where the engine normally would be. Of course the Ram 1500 Revolution innovations go beyond passenger and cargo configurations. There are extensive technology innovation additions as well,  such as portable touchscreens, biometric recognition, head up display (HUD) replacing the gauge cluster, and illuminating interior lighting, to name a few. Also envisioned as being equipped with Level 3+ autonomous driving capability. The Ram 1500 Revolution concept is just that; a concept, at this time. Some of these ideas will make their way into production, while others due to durability, long-term reliability, cost and other practical considerations, will remain as ideas to be worked on. But it does show the kind of thinking that goes into every Ram model Benna CDJR of Superior, Wisconsin current carry. We, at Benna CDJR, have some innovative thinking of our own as featured by our amazing 20 year/ 200,000 Limited Warranty on every new model. Benefits of At-Home Charging For Your Electric Vehicle

Why You Need to Have an At-Home Electric Charging Station If you’re in the market for an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, there is a lot you will want to know first. These vehicles can be a great way to achieve efficient driving, and advancements in electric mobility make these models better and more affordable than they have ever been before. more One thing we stress when buying such a vehicle, however, is that you should absolutely consider having an at-home charging station. Why is this? After all, you wouldn’t need a gasoline refueling station at home for a gasoline-powered vehicle. Well, there are some good reasons when it comes to convenience. Top 3 Reasons for Having an At-Home Electric Charging Station You can charge whenever you want. Because it can take multiple hours to fully charge an electric car battery, it helps to be able to charge it up when it is most convenient to you. This means being able to charge it overnight at home is much more convenient than having to sit at a charging station waiting for the battery to charge up. It’s a personal charging station. Infrastructure for electric vehicles is improving but you may live in an area where the popularity of electric vehicles is moving faster than the building of public charging stations is. If this is the case, you may not want to find yourself waiting at a public station to fill up or driving around seeking out alternative options. At-home stations are affordable. Having to drop a sum of cash right after buying a vehicle may not sound great, but at-home charging stations have become rather affordable when you consider all the factors. Plus, this is a one-time cost that can result in a lot of convenience and is certainly better than the weekly fill-ups you would have to pay for at the gas pump. As you can see, there are many benefits to buying an at-home charging station for your electric vehicle. Here at Benna CDJR, we have auto experts that can answer all the questions you have about electric vehicle-owning best practices, so reach out for more information.

The Hollywood Cool Factor and Jeep–Benna CDJR

1992 Special Edition Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara When you think of a Jeep in Hollywood movies, I’m sure lots of scenes come to mind. War movies, where the big heroes take a ride in an old WWII version of a rugged, army greenJeep.Heartthrobs driving the newest Gladiator around town, only to win the girl in the end. And then, the Dinosaurs! Jurassic Park branded Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara models were such an icon of the movie that they became one of the best supporting rolls in the franchise. There were the main characters, saving a fellow scientist and speeding through the jungle, just out of reach of the King of allDinosaurs, the T-Rex, while Jeff Goldblum urges the crew that they “must go faster”. Well, Jeep fans, our favorites are making a return appearance into the Jurassic World. With the new installment, Jurassic World Dominion in theaters now, you’ll see these rugged SUVs traverse all sorts of terrain in their quest to find more dinosaurs. The Gladiator Truck, four-door Wrangler and even a vintage Grand Wagoneer make an appearance in the movie. The Jeep brand is so immersed in the Jurassic World, that they’ve released an epic commercial to show just how excited they are to be a part of such a thrilling ride. The ad shows some imagination on what a world with dinosaurs could look like. How about your very own baby Carnotaurus? Jeep takes this opportunity to increase consumer interest in the 4xe line of Jeep brand vehicles such as the Wrangler Rubicon featured in the commercial. The Jeep/Jurassic Park Fan turned Dino-Daddy takes his newly adopted baby dinosaur on quiet rides through the forest and sight-seeing trips to the city, all to the dismay of other drivers in the vicinity. Jeep makes it clear that they intend to expand the global Jeep community by creating the most capable and sustainable 4x4 vehicles available which is right in line with comments recently made by Jeep CEO Christian Meunier. Now the real question: will we get to see a new Jurassic World Special Edition Jeep? Meunier said the company is “very keen” on offering a special edition but couldn’t confirm anything specific. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. In the meantime, check out our New and Used Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, and Wagoneer Inventory.
