Dodge Reveals 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead Special Edition

For more than 20 years, the Hemi engine has been a modern symbol of brute force and the ultimate expression of freedom units on four wheels. Cue the latest freedom SUV from Dodge, the Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead Special Edition, which follows in the tire tracks of the Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and R/T 20 th Anniversary. A Special One-Off Experience This new Dodge borrows its name from the Hammerhead Grey Laguna leather interior that is contrasted by the dark blue Night Moves exterior paint. Other touches unique to the Hammerhead include a Satin Black-painted hood, Satin Carbon 20-inch wheels, black six-piston Brembo performance brakes, sepia SRT Hellcat logos that are embroidered on the seats, a premium-wrapped instrument panel, forged carbon fiber with light black chrome interior accenting, a leather and suede steering wheel with silver and sepia contrast stitching, as well as the same color stitching throughout, and a suede headliner. A Word from Dodge “The new Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead continues the celebration of a potent combination: the legendary HEMI engine and the Dodge brand’s three-row performance SUV,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge Brand CEO. “Dodge is America’s performance brand, and we plan to continue to celebrate that legacy at every turn.” Engine and Performance Powering the Hellcat Hammerhead is the infamous 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat V8 that produces 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque that drives all four wheels all the time via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Dodge says the Hemi Hellcat engine will propel the new Durango Hellcat Hammerhead to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, which is so fast that once it reaches the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, the Durango might take off if it had wings since its top speed is 180 mph. The base MSRP of this awesomeness is $113,720, not including destination and handling charges. The Dodge brand continues to fuel horsepower-hungry HEMI® lovers with the introduction of a new special-edition model of the most powerful SUV ever: the 710-horsepower 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead. Special Driving Modes Giving drivers the most use out of their limited-edition Durango is the ability to switch between seven different driving modes: Auto Sport, Track, Snow, Tow, Eco, and Valet. With SRT Performance Pages, users can see the vehicle’s performance, such as various timers, g-force meters, gauges, engine, and dyno readouts. There are even options to use launch control and have shift lights to know when to use the wheel-mounted paddles. Standard Features and Safety Standard on the Durango Hellcat Hammerhead is a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a 19-speaker premium Harman Kardon sound system with an 825-watt amplifier, and an array of safety equipment that includes Blind-spot Monitoring with Trailer Detect, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and much more. 2025 Red RAM 1500 Tungsten - Front/Side View

Motor Authority Finds the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten King of the Luxury Truck Hill

Motor Authority reviewed the flagship of the 2025 Ram 1500 model line, and it is hard to find a more succinct summary than theirs:  “ Anyone looking for the nicest full-size pickup truck money can buy should just head to their local Ram showroom.” This Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram post tells you more of what they had to say. As Luxurious as It Gets Inside As mentioned, the Tungsten is at the top of the Ram 1500 model line.  Step inside, and only the size of the cabin indicates you are in a truck.  As they put it: “Most of the cabin’s covered in thick leather or soft-touch materials. The door uppers, seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and even the grab handles all feature beautiful accent stitching. GM, Ford, and Toyota should be taking notes.” They take further note of the 24-way power adjustable front massaging, cooled, and heated seats, and the 14.4-inch touchscreen.  Despite the screen’s size, a complete set of hard controls remains for the climate system.  They did comment that the head-up display did not seem compatible with polarized glasses before mentioning the novelty of the 10.3-inch screen for the front passenger.  They summarize the cabin by stating, “The 23-speaker Klipsch audio system with 1,375 watts of power and 24 channels is easily the best sound system I’ve heard in a truck. It even places speakers in the front seatbacks.” Nice But Not Showy Exterior Motor Authority points out the contrast between the Tungsten’s interior and exterior. Drawing a contrast to the GMC Denali, they state that it looks nicely finished but isn’t overbearing and doesn’t scream, “L ook at how much money I spent!” Hurricane Power Like all Ram 1500s, the Tungsten is powered by a six, rather than eight-cylinder engine.  However, we are talking about the High Output  Hurricane Inline-6 that produces 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque.  As they mention, the only more powerful light-duty truck engine is in the Ford Raptor R, which is, as they say, “an entirely different animal.” Nobody is going to jump a Ram 1500 Tungsten, though they do mention that drifting is an option. Riding on Air Instead, the Tungsten is about getting the job done in comfort.  The truck rides on an air suspension.  Not only does this pull off lowering the vehicle when Park is selected to make entering and exiting easier, but it also self-levels the truck when given a heavy load while not being so over-sprung to take the load that the truck is harsh when it is gone.  Ram has a winner with the 4-wheel independent suspension on all of the 1500 models, and it definitely isn’t going to mess that up on its top truck. No Hands It is not surprising that the Tungsten comes with the Stellantis Hands-free driving system. Like similar systems from GM and Ford, it enables genuine hands-free driving on pre-mapped highways. The Tungsten is available solely with the Crew Cab and 5’7” box with a 4x4 drivetrain.  The starting MSRP is $87,320, and there isn’t too much to add. It is within spitting distance from the GMC Denali Ultimate or Ford F-150 Platinum, both of which, according to Motor Authority,  don’t quite reach the luxury levels of the Tungsten.  If you are thinking of a new pickup truck, we invite you to visit Benna CDJR to sample the entire award-winning Ram 1500 model line, including the King of the Hill Tungsten.

2024 Grand Wagoneer (left) and 2024 Wagoneer

New England Motor Press Association Names Grand Wagoneer as Best Premium Full-Size SUV

Spend any time in the deep woods of New England, with winters that anyone from the Superior, Wisconsin area will find familiar, and you will know why Jeeps are a staple. Thus, Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) is pleased to announce that the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) has named the Jeep Grand Wagoneer the Best Premium Full-size SUV for the second year in a row. The New England Motor Press Association was founded in 1987. Since then, it has coordinated professional media coverage and created content covering the auto industry specifically for the 14.5 million vehicle buyers living in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NEMPA's media members appear in national and regional print, radio, TV, and online outlets and have a strong social media presence. From November through March, NEMPA journalists test the latest vehicles in New England's harsh winter weather. At a Spring annual event at the NEMPA headquarters in Middleborough, Massachusetts, the New England automotive journalists that make up the NEMPA membership gather and select winners in multiple vehicle categories. One of the biggest of those categories, in all senses of the word, is the Premium Full-Size SUV category. “For the second year in a row, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer outperformed its peers during winter testing with a spacious, high-quality interior, clever use of displays and a smooth air suspension,” said Clifford Atiyeh, President, NEMPA. “While we miss the HEMI ® V-8, the new turbo Hurricane inline-six is even more powerful and purposeful in this flagship Jeep.” Mr. Atiya refers to the new Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine, which produces 510 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque. It is the standard engine for the entire Grand Wagoneer lineup. "The Jeep Grand Wagoneer embodies both capability and luxury," said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America. " Its advanced four-wheel-drive systems, cutting-edge technology and premium cabin come together to create a unique driving experience. We're especially grateful for the recognition from the New England Motor Press Association members, as it reinforces the Grand Wagoneer's ability to excel in even the harshest winter conditions." We may be the full set of Great Lakes away from New England, but as mentioned, the conditions can be strikingly similar. Visit Benna CDJR to experience the large, powerful, capable, comfortable, remarkably luxurious, and award-winning Grand Wagoneer for yourself.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe EV Range

How Far Can a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Run On EV Power?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe works on two types of energy sources: Gasoline and electricity. Using the 4xe’s rechargeable battery pack, your Grand Cherokee can run an estimated 25 miles on a full charge. The turbocharged gasoline engine is not used at all; it is just pure electric propulsion, including instant torque. Running on battery power makes sense when coming to the Twin Ports area. Even if you’re detouring away from the Blatnik Bridge construction, you can still go from Superior to the Duluth Airport without using one drop of fuel. The actual battery range can vary by weather and climate. Cars.com recently tested the Grand Cherokee 4xe during a “mild winter day” and got 21.9 miles of range out of the battery. It is true that colder temperatures could affect battery range. The same is said about hot days, too. When your battery pack runs down to almost empty, the 4xe system switches to the turbocharged gasoline engine. You may have a few drops of electrons left, and some more could be recoverable through regenerative braking. There may be occasions when you start off using the electric motor and then switch to the gasoline engine without any interruption. The switch between the two power sources is very seamless. Recharging is easy. It can take up to a Level 2 charge either at home or at a public charging station. You can install a Level 2 charger for your home. A wall-mounted Free2Move or Jeep brand charger is available through Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. You could also get a wall-mounted charger from another source. There are plenty of electricians in the Twin Ports area who can assist you in installing your own home charger. If you’re looking for a charging station, Jeep has you covered. You will find them in downtown Duluth and on the campus of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The Jeep website, as well as other apps, can assist you in finding a spot to charge up the Grand Cherokee 4xe when you are away from home. Of course, you can take your Grand Cherokee 4xe off-road. Your battery pack is protected from water up to 24 inches of wading depth. If you are ready to join the plug-in hybrid revolution, contact us at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to experience the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s ability to run on gasoline or electricity.

Ram Off-Road Truck Lineup

2025 Ram 1500 Hurricane Engines For The Win

Thirty years ago, the Dodge Ram 1500 had a radical redesign. A large, imposing grille with the brand’s traditional cross-hair design was upfront. The fenders on each side were significantly lower and housed the headlights, giving the front end the appearance of a semi-tractor. Many called it the big-rig look. In addition to boosting Ram sales, the look inspired the styling of its rivals. They didn’t copy the big-rig looks so much as they tried to out-macho each other. Now, almost every full-size Ford, GM, or Toyota truck looks ready to either devour or just beat up whatever is in front of them. Ram has already stepped away from the trend it started, trading brutality for refinement, and the design tweaks of the new 2025 Ram 1500 further that direction. And yet, the truck is tougher than ever, thanks in part to a new family of engines replacing the former Hemi V-8s. Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram invites you to read this brief rundown on the new 2025 Ram 1500. Outside, the changes are few. The grille and headlights have been finessed for a more integrated appearance, there are new grille mesh treatments on certain models, and the lower front appearance has been de-cluttered. The refined look visually represents the critically acclaimed ride quality of its double control-arm front and five-link solid rear axle supported by coil springs. This arrangement has put the Ram 1500 on Car and Driver’s 10 Best list for multiple years in a row, among other accolades. But let’s begin with the significant changes under the hood. Smaller Engine, Greater Power All Ram engines will now have six cylinders. The current 305-hp Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 continues to be the base engine. Above that, everything has changed. Replacing the former 5.2-liter V-8 is the Hurricane aluminum 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six. The engine produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. That is 25 more horsepower and 50 more lb-ft of torque than the 5.7-liter V-8 it replaces. The two turbos spool up quickly as each only has three cylinders to fill, so the peak torque arrives at a very accessible 3,500 rpm. Paired to the engine is the familiar 8-speed Torqueflite automatic. Despite the added power, the EPA combined estimate for the powertrain with 4WD is two more miles per gallon than the V-8 at 24. At the top of the Ram 1500 engine hierarchy is the High-Output Hurricane, which remains at 3.0 liters but increases turbo boost from 22 to 28 psi to produce 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft. The engine also features forged aluminum pistons, revised ignition coils, and upgraded fuel injectors to handle the increased power. The smooth 8-speed Torqueflite transmission handles this engine as well. New Tech and New Heights of Luxury Inside Like the exterior, the interior design is refined rather than redone. Formerly an upgrade, the 8.4-inch touchscreen is now standard, with touchscreens measuring 12 inches or more available on other models. The big screens are positioned in a portrait format and are powered by the latest version of the intuitive Uconnect system. All models have wireless Apple CarPlay ® and Android Auto TM. Ram positions convenient physical controls on each side of the screen for temperature, fan speed, defrost, and other functions. Now at the top of the 1500 range, the Tungsten model transforms the 1500 into a full-fledged luxury vehicle with an open bed in the back. While lower models already offer leather, the Tungsten takes it up a notch with quilted leather seats that are heated and ventilated, complete with massaging. The center features a 14.2-inch touchscreen, and the front passenger gets their own 10.25-inch touchscreen to control the 23-speaker 1,228-watt Klipsch-branded audio system. These interior upgrades truly elevate the 2025 Ram 1500's luxury and comfort. “Tougher and more refined” defines the new 2025 Ram 1500 model lineup, and Ram is betting that it is exactly what you want in your next or first pickup. See all the details and experience the new Hurricane engines for yourself at Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Superior, WI.

Recognizing automakers' outstanding achievements in creating and maintaining brand attributes that earn the attention and enthusiasm of new-car buyers, Kelley Blue Book, a Cox Automotive company, announces the winners of the 2024 Consumer Choice Awards. Honda is the major winner in this year's Consumer Choice Awards, nearly sweeping all of the non-luxury categories and taking home more wins than any other automaker for 2024.

Ram and Dodge Take Home 2024 Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards

Benna Chrysler, Dodge Jeep Ram is thrilled to share that two of its esteemed brands, Ram and Dodge, have been honored with prestigious awards from Kelley Blue Book and its Consumer Choice Awards. Ram has been recognized as the Best Overall Truck Brand, while Dodge has been lauded as the Best Car Styling Brand for a non-luxury brand, an award it has won five times in the past six years. These accolades hold immense value as they are a testament to the exceptional quality and design of our vehicles, as acknowledged by the consumers themselves. The Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards are a true testament to the popularity and customer satisfaction of these two automotive brands. These awards are based on the data from their comprehensive Brand Watch study, which engages over 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually through KBB.com. The study delves into the factors that drive purchase decisions, revealing brand and model familiarity and loyalty among new-car shoppers. This consumer-driven source makes these awards even more significant and meaningful. Ram: Best Overall Truck Brand The award comes at a good time for Ram as it prepares the launch of an extensively updated 2025 Ram 1500, which includes the debut of its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine family. This model line is expected to surpass the performance of the brand’s previous V-8 offerings and includes a version to be rated at 540 horsepower. Other features to arrive with the 2025 truck include a 14-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and even an available 10.25-inch front passenger display, all using the latest Uconnect5 operating system. Other available features include a Head-up Display and the ability to use a smartphone as a key. Also on its way is the 2025 Ram 1500 REV full-size all-electric pickup, which is expected to launch in the fall of 2024. The truck, which intentionally resembles the conventional Ram 1500, is expected to have a standard 168 kilowatt-hour battery for an estimated range of 350 miles. Dual motors will produce 654 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque across all rpm. The truck will have a maximum payload capacity of 2,625 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds. Expected for the following year is an available 229-kilowatt-hour battery for an estimated range of 500 miles. Dodge: Best Car Styling Dodge reclaims this award in the same year it says farewell to its Charger and Challenger muscle car lines. Those consumers will not be disappointed by the return of the all-new Charger Daytona, which will be the world’s first EV muscle car upon its arrival. The car will be available initially as a 2-door coupe and later as a 4-door sport sedan, both carrying overt muscle car lines from Dodge’s past while looking thoroughly modern. The Charger Daytona will be a multi-energy model lineup, and following the EV introduction, a gas-powered version of the same will feature the Hurricane engine lineup. The 4-door body style will arrive at about the same time as both EV and gas drivetrains. Ram and Dodge are both part of the Stellantis brand family, which includes Chrysler and Jeep, each with its own exciting models. You can see them all at the appropriately named Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store.

2024 Wagoneer Front View

Jeep Wagoneer vs Chevrolet Tahoe

The Jeep Wagoneer dates back to 1962, long before the term SUV existed, and it continued largely unchanged for 30 years. The market for such a vehicle was very small back then, and the Wagoneer found itself a niche market of Field & Stream subscribers and people who visited their country homes on the weekend. After it was gone, Jeep resurrected the Wagoneer name briefly a couple of times, but it wasn’t until 2022 that Jeep brought the Wagoneer back to fill its original category as a full-size three-row SUV. In terms of sales and name recognition, its biggest competitor is the Chevrolet Tahoe, which first appeared just a few years after the original Wagoneer left. In this post from Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we compare the 2024 Wagoneer to the Tahoe. Wagoneer vs Grand Wagoneer Jeep created a little confusion when it introduced both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The Grand Wagoneer is on a whole different level in terms of luxury and is meant to compete against luxury-brand models, but its size is identical. However, there are longer versions of both models called the Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L, which are Suburban-sized. The Tahoe is simply a shorter version of the Suburban. Big News Smaller Engine Hood The biggest news for the 2024 Wagoneer is that its 5.7-liter V-8 has been replaced by the new Hurricane 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6, the sole engine across the model line. The Hurricane significantly out-powers the V-8 with 420 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. It also outpowers Tahoe’s standard 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft 5.3-liter V-8. Adding insult to industry, it also outpowers the Tahoe’s optional 6.2-liter V-8, which produces an identical 420 horsepower but falls short in torque with just 460 lb-ft. Conversely, the Tahoe’s available 3.0-liter turbodiesel bests the Hurricane with 495 lb-ft of torque but has significantly less horsepower. When comparing standard engines, the power differences are apparent in acceleration, with the Wagoneer showing 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds compared to 7.5 for the Tahoe. It also makes itself known in towing capacity, which is up to 10,000 pounds for the Wagoneer compared to 7,800 lb for the standard-engined Tahoe, rising to 8,400 lb. with the optional diesel engine. The Wagoneer is also a little less thirsty with an EPA estimated city/highway/combined mpg rating of 16/19/23 for a 4WD mode versus 15/20/17 for the 5.3-liter V-8 4WD Tahoe. Combined with a larger fuel tank, this results in an estimated range of 610 miles in the Jeep versus 480 for the Chevy. However, the Tahoe’s optional turbo diesel takes the efficiency crown with 20/26/22. Of course, diesel is also 11% more expensive than regular gasoline on average in Wisconsin. You wouldn’t select either of these models for a run on the Rubicon Trail, but for the occasional excursion off-pavement and our abundant snow, 4WD is a $3,000 option for both models. If you need a two-speed transfer case, it is standard with 4WD on the Tahoe but comes to the Wagoneer via a Heavy-Duty Trailer-Tow Package that contributes to its large towing capacity mentioned above. The Great Indoors Both models specialize in vast interiors, with a seating capacity of eight, or seven if one opts for 2nd-row captain’s chairs. Adults will be perfectly fine in the 3rd row, though the Wagoneer’s 3rd-row legroom of 36.6 inches is 1.7 inches over the 3rd row in the Tahoe. With all the seat backs up, the Waggoner's 27 cubic feet of cargo space is one cubed foot over the Tahoe’s. That turns around when you start folding seats, and when turned into 2-seaters, the Tahoe has 123 cubic feet compared to 117 for the Wagoneer. The Wagoneer shares its dashboard layout with the Grand Wagoneer, while the Tahoe shares its with the Silverado pickup truck. The result is a decidedly more luxurious dashboard in the Jeep. The Wagoneer has a higher starting MSRP, which is close to the Tahoe LT, and one upgrade from the base LS. As such, both moth models are similarly equipped. Both have 10-inch touchscreens, onboard navigation systems, wireless smartphone compatibility, leather seating, and power adjustments for the driver and front passenger. There are trade-offs. For example, ventilated front seats are standard on the Wagoneer but need another upgrade for the Tahoe. While the base Wagoneer has a 10-speaker audio system, the Tahoe LT has a Bose ® -branded 9-speaker system. Of course, both models have trim hierarchies that add more features as you go. But overall, you will still get a better drivetrain and nicer interior with the Wagoneer. Visit Benna CDJR for a Wagoneer test drive and see if you don’t agree.

2024 Jeep® Gladiator Mojave X

2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave: Fast on the Sand, Fun Anywhere

The midsize pickup truck has undergone a significant transformation in the past few years, with newly designed models from Ford, GM, Toyota, and Nissan. Yet, none of these new trucks has anything close to the character of the Jeep Gladiator, and of course, none of them are convertibles, either. Jeep’s pickup can do everything you need in a pickup while giving you a fun experience in every drive that those conventional trucks cannot approach. As of this writing, the 2024 Gladiators are still fresh in the Benna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram inventory, having started production in February 2024. These new models come with a host of new standard features, all without a price increase. Some of the notable additions include: 12.3-inch touchscreen with the Unconnect 5 operating systems First- and second-row side-curtain airbags (uncommon in a convertible. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Forward collision warning (Sport S and above), Advanced cruise control with stop (Sport S and above) Trails OffRoad, Jeep Adventure Guides built into the UConnect 5 Nav system (on Nav-equipped models) Gladiator trims include Sport, Sport S, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, and new for 2024, the Mojave X and Rubicon X. All are powered by the Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6, which produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Almost unheard of in the industry anymore, every trim is available with a 6-speed manual or an available 8-speed Torqueflite transmission. The Mojave and Rubicon are evidence of Jeep’s understanding that all off-roading is not created equal. The subject of this post, the Mojave, specializes in carrying speed over sand and light off-road terrain, which may mark it as the most fun-loving trim in the lineup. By contrast, the Rubicon’s specialty is crawling over very rough terrain at slow speeds. That is not to say that the Mojave can’t do the slow, rough stuff. Its 11.6-inch ground clearance is up for it, as are the 44.7° approach, 20.9° break-over, and 25.5° departure angles. The Rubicon will just have an easier time of it. But you can lose the Rubi in the sand. The differences lie in the chassis, where the Mojave features 2.5-inch aluminum internal bypass shocks with external reservoirs for additional heat management and overall higher-speed suspension tuning. The Rubicon has a lower crawl ratio, a front locking differential (both have rear lockers), a swaybar disconnect, and high-pressure gas-charged monotube shocks with hydraulic rebound stops. The Mojave X and Rubicon X are similarly equipped, but simply add every option available. The Gladiator shares the Wrangler’s dash design, which combines the usefulness of the large touchscreen with an impressive array of analog gauges and physical controls, including one to turn the screen off if you don’t want the distraction. When it comes to truck duty, the Gladiator Mojave will carry 1,100 pounds and can tow 6,000 pounds with the 8-speed automatic. If you need greater capacity, it will cost you less, rather than more, as the entry-level Sport can carry 1,725 pounds or tow 7,700 pounds. In short, the Gladiator is an extraordinarily capable mid-size pickup that gives you a sense of being in something special every time you get in. It can also give you thrills like no other when the roof is removed, and you are speeding from one dune to the next. If any of these special pickups sound like what you would like in your next truck, visit Benna CDJR for a test drive. Have fun!

2025 Ram 1500 RHO Side Profile Off Road

Ram 1500 RHO Is The New Off-Road Benchmark

The 2025 Ram 1500 is quickly becoming all the rage among those looking to buy a new truck. Trucks are a major staple in general these days, and engineering a new truck that can outwork the competition is getting tougher and tougher. However, Ram has successfully won MotorTrend’s Truck of the Year award eight times since 1994, with six of those awards being from 2013 to the present. And certainly, a possible shoo-in for Truck of the Year is the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. All-New Performance With a starting price of $69,995, the all-new Ram 1500 RHO gives buyers the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo (SST), which produces 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. Ram claims this will allow the RHO to get from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and to 100 mph in only 11.7 seconds. The Ram RHO can also get through the ¼-mile in 13.1 seconds at 105 mph. A Word From Ram CEO “The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is the latest result of a relentless pursuit to engineer, design and deliver a truck that charges into the segment head down and horn up,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram Brand CEO – Stellantis. “All that we’ve learned from developing every truck in Ram’s legendary lineup has led us to the most capable light-duty pick-up truck, offering the best value with more horsepower per dollar than any other off-road truck.” Truck Capabilities It isn’t all about speed and performance, though, as the Ram RHO will have a towing capacity of 8,380 lbs, a maximum payload of 1,520 lbs, and as much as 32 inches of water fording. It's super fast and still very practical. The RHO will be the most powerful 6-cylinder truck in the segment. And thanks to that new H/O SST, the RHO is 150 lbs lighter than previous performance Ram models, which will aid in giving it better driving dynamics and overall balance. New Transfer Case & Low Range A brand new BorgWarner 48-13 full-time active transfer case has been added to ensure no off-road or inclement weather conditions will hamper its abilities and performance. A low range of 2.64:1 allows the RHO to go rock-crawling out of the box, and it can be flat-towed in neutral without harming anything. Suspension Upgrades New Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, the shocks on the Ram RHO, coupled with independent front suspension, are able to continuously adjust the damping forces for excellent body control and terrain isolation. The special Bilsteins can seamlessly adapt to on- and off-road driving to maintain the utmost comfort and performance handling. Thanks to an innovative design, the rear suspension allows the RHO to have 14 inches of rear axle travel, which is 40% greater than all other Ram 1500 models. Ride Height The 2025 Ram RHO has been given a 2-inch increase in ride height and 35-inch tires. This means the new RHO's ground clearance is a very respectable 11.8 inches. Interior Displays The driver and front passenger have also been given attention with 12-way power and leather front seats with memory and massage functions. Front passengers will also have dual wireless phone chargers. The RHO has over 50 inches of total screens in the cabin, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 10.25-inch passenger display that is only visible to the front passenger and has three primary functions: co-pilot which displays the navigation and device management, entertainment via the HDMI port, and the ability to view all of the external cameras. A user-configurable head-up display can be as large as 10 inches and give the driver all permanent information available while driving, including navigation and adaptive cruise control, among other features. Special Features The 2025 Ram 1500 will feature a new Level 2+ hands-free driving assist system that allows drivers to go hands-free on certain roads, center the truck in the lane, and slow the vehicle when driving on curvy roads. Dodge Charger EV

The Dodge EV Muscle Lineup

The Dodge Charger is back and better than ever. Sadly, the V8s are gone, but in their place are some very intriguing motors that create a lot of muscle without much effort. You will be able to get the Charger in either two or four doors, in hatchback form, with an EV or a twin-turbo inline-6 in Standard Output (S.O.) or High Output (H.O.). Every model will come with all-wheel drive available. Once you read about the power outputs, you’ll understand why drivers are going to need it. The biggest news about the 2024 and 2025 Dodge Charger is the introduction of electric motors. The 2024 Charger Daytona will have 496 horsepower in R/T trim via a Stage 1 kit from Dodge Direct Connection and 670 horsepower with the Stage 2 kit Scat Pack. These kits will only be available for the first model year cars in 2024. Both cars have a 100.5 kWh battery with an estimated range of 317 miles for the R/T and 260 miles for the Scat Pack. Dodge says the Charger Daytona Scat Pack will reach 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. However, for 2025, when buying the R/T and Scat Pack, buyers must purchase the Direct Connection Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits. Without the kits, the power will be 456 horsepower for the R/T and 590 for the Scat Pack. “The electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance and announces its presence through the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, while Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “The next generation of Dodge muscle has arrived.” The Daytona R/T will ride on 18-inch wheels, while the Scat Pack will have 21-inch wheels. Both models have fully independent suspension, and an optional Track Pack adds adaptive dampers. For 2024, both cars will have Brembo brakes with 16.1-inch rotors. To help set both the R/T and Scat Pack apart on the inside, they will have different seating surfaces and screen sizes. The R/T will feature a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, whereas the Scat Pack will have a 16-inch screen. However, the R/T can be optioned with the larger screen. Both cars will have a 12.3-inch center infotainment display. A premium 18-speaker Alpine system and an augmented reality head-up display will be available to project a large field of view with virtual image distance. Buyers looking to get into a Charger with a gas motor will have to wait until 2025. The 2025 Charger will be called the Sixpack and is available in S.O. (standard output) and H.O. (high output). The only engine will be the amazing 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 Hurricane that will produce 420 horsepower in S.O. and 550 horsepower in H.O. Dodge Charger Daytona EV models will also have unique drive modes, which include Drag, Track, Drift, and Donut. Drift mode allows drivers to choose between three different slip angles, with torque being biased to the rear axle, and the front axle will maintain the slip angle. Donut mode will allow the Charger to spin only the rear wheels without the traction control trying to limit you. Daytona models will also feature a patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered exhaust system. This system will incorporate two passive radiators that will create Hellcat levels of sound. However, you can use Stealth Mode to avoid exhaust sound. 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Front Side View

Chrysler Pacifica Named Best Minivan for Families by U.S. News & World Report

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is a minivan that is more than a people carrier. It is a safe, attractive, all-weather, and all-purpose vehicle that helps up to 8 passengers ride easily and comfortably. When Chrysler developed the minivan concept in the 1980s with the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager, they never stopped reinventing the segment, which is what makes the Pacifica so beloved by journalists and customers. Who Is U.S. News & World Report? U.S. News & World Report is one of the leading publications that ranks everything from the best colleges in America, the best universities around the globe, to the best hospitals, states, cars, and much more. They have been a trusted source since 1948. Every year, they give out their best of awards, and this year, they chose the Chrysler Pacifica as the Best Minivan for their 2024 Best Cars for Families Awards. A Word From U.S. News “The 2024 Best Cars for Families winners offer a number of safety features and a comfortable ride for all passengers, making them ideal for daily commutes or family adventures,” said Liz Opsitnik, Executive Editor, U.S. News. In order to decide the 2024 Best Cars for Families award, U.S. News & World Report looks at their Best Car Rankings, which uses safety data, quality, estimated reliability, passenger and cargo space, plus the overall consensus of automotive journalists. Engine & Mileage The Pacifica is available as either a gas-only or hybrid vehicle. The gas model features a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Pacifica plug-in hybrid has the same 3.6-liter V6 but with 260 horsepower and two electric motors producing 84 horsepower and 114 horsepower. With 520 miles of range, the Pacific hybrid is fast becoming the segment’s favorite minivan. In pure electric mode, the vehicle can go 32 miles before the gas motor kicks in. The Pacifica is also available with all-wheel drive. According to the EPA, the front-wheel drive Pacifica models can get 19 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. When AWD is equipped, that mileage drops slightly to 15 and 25. However, opting for the plug-in hybrid allows for 82 MPGe and 30 mpg combined between city and highway. For mothers and fathers who need to keep an eye on their children in the backseat, the Pacifica features a FamCam interior camera that gives a view of children in rear-facing child seats. With Stow ‘n Go seating, the Pacifica is never hurting for available space, and the seats won’t get in the way when stowed. Behind the third row of seats, you will find 32.3 cu.ft. of cargo space. Folding the third row opens that up to 87.5 cu.ft., and folding the second row of seats gives owners 140.5 cu.ft. of cargo capacity. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety has given the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica their coveted Top Safety Pick award. This means that the Pacifica is not only one of the best offerings for families, according to U.S. News & World Report, but is verified as one of the safest family vehicles on the market by the IIHS.
