The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has already garnered a lot of attention from enthusiasts and the entire world. It has already won Motor Trend’s Truck of The Year award.
Now, FOUR WHEELER magazine just named the Ram 1500 TRX their 2021 Pickup Truck of The Year.
Over the course of a week, FOUR WHEELER’s judges conducted a variety of tests spanning more than 1,000 miles of varied terrain that included pavement, gravel, dirt, sand, rocks, mud and snow. A loose-dirt hill climb and water crossings were included in testing as well. Night driving was also integrated into the competition to gauge each vehicle’s lighting equipment. Judges included staff from various 4×4 media brands, including FOUR WHEELER, 4-WHEEL & OFF-ROAD, and JP MAGAZINE.
Hellcat All Things
The Ram 1500 TRX is powered by a 702-horsepower supercharged Hellcat HEMI V8, this off-road pickup truck is the fastest one on any terrain. This truck does not stop with just the Hellcat engine. The frame was beefed up to not only handle this kind of power, but the new suspension set up to keep all that power down on all terrain conditions.

Introducing the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe – the first electrified Jeep with benchmark capability for all conditions and terrains.
On the outside, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe looks like every other Jeep. There are a few differences, however. There is an extra door for the plug to go into. Plus, you will find 4xe decals and badges to distinguish this electrified Wrangler from all others in the Northwoods. Perhaps a few new easter eggs for you to find!
The real magic lies underneath the Wrangler 4xe’s hood. It combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and a high-voltage battery pack. In all, there is 375 total horsepower along with instant torque from the electric motors. The result is an all-electric range of 25 miles combined with delivering around 50 MPGe.
You have the convenience of a traditional gasoline powered Jeep. More low down torque than the 3.0L diesel engine. And, the ability to crawl through the woods, or the city in absolute silence!
Make no mistake that this is truly a Trail Rated Jeep Wrangler. While the engine is efficient, the four-wheel drive system keeps it on the trail. Just like a “normal” Wrangler, the 4xe has a two-speed full-time four-wheel-drive system with solid front and rear axles and fully articulating suspension. While it has a 30-inch wading depth, the battery pack located underneath the second row of seats is protected from any damage from water and terrain.
The big payoff is that you can drive this Wrangler 4xe without emitting any exhaust into the Twin Ports air above. You can do that with the open-air feeling only a Wrangler can give you.

Coming Soon: 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
This is the newest generation of the most awarded SUV ever – the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
This will be one of a family of Grand Cherokee models to be introduced over the next several months. This one will feature a third row of seating, a longer wheelbase, and an advanced design to fit this next chapter of the iconic family SUV.
Riding on a new 121.7-inch wheelbase, the three-row Grand Cherokee L can seat up to seven passengers. Getting to the third row will be helped with longer rear side doors enabling access to both the second and third rows. The Grand Cherokee L is built on a brand new unibody structure.
Though it has grown a third row of seats, the new Grand Cherokee L retains all of Jeep’s DNA, including excellent four-wheel-drive traction. Customers have a choice of three four-wheel-drive systems: Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II. These systems are also augmented by the Selec-Terrain traction management system and the available Quadra-Lift air suspension. Combined, the Grand Cherokee L will be able handle anything from the Upper Peninsula and the Boundary Waters.
Two engines will be available at launch: the 290-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and the 357-horsepower 5.7-liter V8. Both engines will be mated to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic. The Grand Cherokee L will also feature a front-axle disconnect which will automatically cancel the use of the front axle when only two wheels need to be driven instead of four.
The new Grand Cherokee L will be a technological feast for the eyes and ears. The new Uconnect 5 infotainment system will be featured in this newest SUV in a new 10-inch touchscreen, along with available audio systems from audiophile specialist McIntosh. Included in the Uconnect 5 will be a segment first wireless smartphone integration for Apple and Android devices. The instrument cluster will be housed in a new 10-inch screen that is customizable to the driver. A new Head-up Display will be added to select models.
Safety is also highlighted in the new Grand Cherokee L. Among these are L2 driver-assisted systems with hands-on automated driving. Other features also include a 360-degree surround view and night vision cameras. These are among 110 safety and driver-assistance features on the new Grand Cherokee L.
The first Grand Cherokee L models will arrive by mid-year here at Superior Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, followed by a two-row new-generation Grand Cherokee and a 4xe electrified version by the end of this year.

This Jeep packs major power. The 6.4-liter V8 engine – exactly 392 cubic inches in displacement – packs 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This power is ripe for off-road adventures by offering greater off-road capability with greater approach and departure angles, suspension articulation, maneuverability and water traversing up to 32.5 inches. And, it does so rapidly. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 was clocked going 0-60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds. All of this matched to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
