Testing occurred for two weeks during which Car and Driver editors drove, measured, and evaluated more than 55 cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. All vehicles had to have a base price at or below $110,000. To earn its 10Best award, Car and Driver states: “Each winner leads its segment and offers the refinement, practicality, and value we look for during judging. Those virtues shouldn’t come at the expense of the driving experience. Satisfying performance and entertaining vehicle dynamics are a requirement for every 10Best winner, no matter its shape, size, or segment”.

Car and Driver isn’t alone in their assessment as J.D. Power’s most recent APEAL Study named the 2022 RAM 1500 the large light-duty pickup for the third year in a row.
