When you think of a Jeep in Hollywood movies, I’m sure lots of scenes come to mind. War movies, where the big heroes take a ride in an old WWII version of a rugged, army greenJeep.Heartthrobs driving the newest Gladiator around town, only to win the girl in the end. And then, the Dinosaurs!
Jurassic Park branded Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara models were such an icon of the movie that they became one of the best supporting rolls in the franchise. There were the main characters, saving a fellow scientist and speeding through the jungle, just out of reach of the King of allDinosaurs, the T-Rex, while Jeff Goldblum urges the crew that they “must go faster”.
Well, Jeep fans, our favorites are making a return appearance into the Jurassic World. With the new installment, Jurassic World Dominion in theaters now, you’ll see these rugged SUVs traverse all sorts of terrain in their quest to find more dinosaurs. The Gladiator Truck, four-door Wrangler and even a vintage Grand Wagoneer make an appearance in the movie.
The Jeep brand is so immersed in the Jurassic World, that they’ve released an epic commercial to show just how excited they are to be a part of such a thrilling ride.
The ad shows some imagination on what a world with dinosaurs could look like. How about your very own baby Carnotaurus? Jeep takes this opportunity to increase consumer interest in the 4xe line of Jeep brand vehicles such as the Wrangler Rubicon featured in the commercial.The Jeep/Jurassic Park Fan turned Dino-Daddy takes his newly adopted baby dinosaur on quiet rides through the forest and sight-seeing trips to the city, all to the dismay of other drivers in the vicinity. Jeep makes it clear that they intend to expand the global Jeep community by creating the most capable and sustainable 4×4 vehicles available which is right in line with comments recently made by Jeep CEO Christian Meunier.
Now the real question: will we get to see a new Jurassic World Special Edition Jeep? Meunier said the company is “very keen” on offering a special edition but couldn’t confirm anything specific. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
