Did you miss the “I Love The 90s” Tour at Bayfront Festival Park on September 3rd? It sure was fun, wasn’t it?
Live music is back in the Twin Ports. Whether it is a local cover band or a huge international act, we waited months to experience what has been missing in our lives.
So have the bands! In fact, Ram has put together a Back To Live Tour featuring the BandVan – a hardworking ProMaster capable of carrying band members and their gear from venue to venue.
The tour will feature five emerging artists who will document their journey of reconnecting with each other and with music fans. You can view their content on RamBandVan.com and on Ram’s official YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels. Just follow the hashtag #RamBandVan.
Each Ram BandVan will have SiriusXM activated to keep tabs on what’s happening in the world of music. That includes the Volume channel (SiriusXM 106), the station where the talk is on music – featuring Mark Goodman (former original MTV VJ), Eddie Trunk, Lori Majewski, Lindsay Parker, and other hosts that covered the music business inside and out.
The tour launched in conjunction with a Ram advertising campaign featuring Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. It also coincides with a feature-length documentary directed by Grohl called “What Drives Us” about band life on the road.
Here’s a piece of trivia: Did you know that Grohl still owns the band’s original Dodge Ram van. Before they got their first record deal, they toured in a red extended length 1990s Ram Van across the country – known as Big Red Delicious. It now sits at the Foo Fighters studio in Los Angeles.
Speaking of the Foo Fighters, their opening act, Radkey, will be the first Ram BandVan act featured on this tour.
