The biggest news coming from this year’s Chicago Auto Show is the updated 2022 Jeep Compass. One of the world’s most popular Jeep models will become the most connected and technically advanced vehicle in its lineup.
The first thing you will notice is an all-new interior for the 2022 Compass. It is now more modern in design and spacious than in the current model. The new interior will feature a new 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 center stack display, adding the newest version of our infotainment system along with expanded connectivity options. Some models will get a new available 10.25-inch frameless full-color thin-film transistor digital cluster with customization available for the driver on the information they need. Plus, the Compass will see the availability of heated rear seats available for the first time.
Latitude models will get an upgraded LUX trim level that combines a long list of premium amenities, standard safety features and legendary Jeep 4×4 capability for an incredible value.
What’s new
The 2022 Compass also feature more than 75 advanced safety and security features – the most available safety features in its class – and a host of next-generation technologies. Advanced safety features now standard across all trims include Full-speed Collision Warning with active brake and pedestrian/cyclist detection, Active Lane Management with LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist and Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection.
On top of these features, the Compass will feature a new Highway Assist semi-autonomous driving system delivering hands-on-wheel and eyes-on-road automated driving.
You will also find new suspension tuning that delivers smooth ride and handling. The 2022 Compass will also receive upgraded steering and provide improved on-road responsiveness. There is also a choice of two four-wheel drive systems along with the SelectTerrain mode system.
