Since its inception in 1900, the Dodge brand has always been focused on excellence, performance, and turning possibilities into realities. Is There an Electric Model?

First and foremost, is there an electric model? For the first time ever in the history of the brand, Dodge is proud to introduce an electrified performance hybrid: the 2024 Hornet R/T. Officially the most powerful utility vehicle in its segment, the 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T delivers 288 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque while offering 32 miles of all-electric range via a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery, as well as 77 MPGe and 360 miles of total range. Additionally, one can select from three different driving modes: Hybrid, Electric, and E-Save. As if that wasn’t enough, this groundbreaking vehicle comes with a class-exclusive, on-demand PowerShot feature. With it, the user can release a burst of 30 horsepower, which allows the Hornet R/T to go from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. Of course, all of this is just the beginning of what the 2024 Hornet R/T has to offer.

What are the Gas Engine Specifications?

As for the gas engine specifications, the exclusively-fuel-powered Hornet GT model is home to a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder Hurricane4 engine. This traditional titan produces up to 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque as commanded by its fully electronic nine-speed transmission. Plus, with stop-start technology on its side, the 2024 Hornet GT reduces its emissions while still providing its drivers with an undeniably powerful, punchy, and passionate drivetrain. In other words, imagine everything you love about good old-fashioned Dodge engineering but with the technology of today; it just doesn’t get any better than that.

How Much Does it Cost?

Last but certainly not least, one of the most common questions of all, how much does it cost? For the 2024 model year, the starting MSRP of each Dodge Hornet trim level is as follows: $30,735 for the base GT; $35,735 for the GT Plus; $40,935 for the R/T; and $45,935 for the R/T Plus.
