We showed the concept, you demanded we produce it.  So here it is the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392! No off-road park is safe from the fury of the most-powerful Wrangler ever created. Or, hear it coming down the trail. Not to mention, this is the first V8-powered Jeep Wrangler in 40 years.

This Jeep packs major power. The 6.4-liter V8 engine – exactly 392 cubic inches in displacement – packs 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This power is ripe for off-road adventures by offering greater off-road capability with greater approach and departure angles, suspension articulation, maneuverability and water traversing up to 32.5 inches. And, it does so rapidly. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 was clocked going 0-60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds. All of this matched to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is Trail Rated capability in any condition with Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case and an intuitive full-time four-wheel-drive. The system includes a heavy-duty wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials and electronic front sway-bar disconnect. Plus, it has a 48:1 crawl ratio to tackle steep grades and technical maneuvers.

To accommodate the new powerful V8, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 features upgraded frame rails, factory 2-inch lift, unique suspension geometry, heavy-duty brakes and FOX high-performance shocks enable improved off-road performance, handling and durability. 33-inch tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels are standard on this Rubicon 392.

Aggressive, functional exterior appointments distinguish the Wrangler Rubicon 392 from mere mortal Jeeps. These appointments include active dual-mode exhaust sound and unique quad tailpipes. Functional hood scoop feeds cool, outside air to the V-8 engine through a Tri-level Hydro-Guide™ air intake system can channel up to 15 gallons of water a minute away from engine. Plus, a secondary air path built into the hood allows engine to power the Wrangler Rubicon 392 up to top speed even if the hood scoop is completely obscured by mud, snow or debris.

Inside the Wrangler Rubicon 392’s cabin is a competition-inspired leather-wrapped steering wheel featuring an aggressive rim section for extra grip and ergonomic comfort. A pair of aluminum paddle shifters mark a first for any Wrangler.
